Weekend on the lake

Loved everything about this rental. The only problem was the water level on the lake the dock was sitting on mud. Corp of engineers lake and they released water for the winter. This happens every fall.

Cozy cabin on the lake

This place was as described. Absolutely no hassle and very easy check in and out. We can't wait to come again. The dock was a big plus. We put the boat in the water just once and parked it at the dock. And this place has super cold AC. We were there around the 4th of July and it stated very comfortable.

Lake cabin

We loved the cabin, it was clean and had a nice screened in porch with fans. The kitchen had everything you need except wine glasses. The back yard view was great! Very relaxing, quiet neighborhood. There were no pictures of the rock stairway down to the dock and it was very steep. It would be difficult for disabled or elderly family members to descend. The dock is in need of repair. We are an active couple not overweight, but we could not both sit on the bench because the dock tip to one side. Would also recommend to monitor the water level of the lake before you go. Overall good experience.

We had a great vacation. The cove was nice and quiet during the week. We caught to bass and a gar.

The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. We had a great time floating in the lake and my son used his new kayak. It is a little bit of a walk down to the dock but once there we had fun fishing and floating

Nice Stay

We took a family trip for Thanksgiving and really enjoyed this property. The weather was beautiful. The location is remote yet just a short drive from lots of fun things. The only real issue we had was the couch is in serious need of replacing. Was not comfortable to sit on at all and stained/dirty. I personally feel leather is a safer/better option with rentals such as this. The kitchen while big and roomy, really needed some new pots and pans, and things like can openers etc, the pots and pans, baking sheets were old and worn, burnt etc. there were 3 hand held can openers, all were broken. Also there is a big beautiful porch off the living room that had no furniture or place to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. There is a tv but no cable. We weren’t there to watch tv anyway but we did want to watch the parade so we had to hook up our computer and stream that. Would I go back? Yes. Probably. Would I hope these things were addressed? Also yes.

great getaway!

we needed a stress free Get a way! and this house was wonderful! they DO Have WIFI and an HDMI cord so we were able to access all of our entertainment accounts. Incredibly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. easy access for hiking and waterfalls, Toccoa falls is not a "hike" but worth seeing.

Awesome getaway

We had a great time, didn't catch any fish😢 property was perfect, everything was beautiful we did alot of hiking! A good place to eat and have a few beers is Juniors on the "A road"

Nice quiet get away

Process was seamless. House was nice. Just as described. Would recommend to others as a quiet place to stay and get away from the everyday craziness. I stayed with my two sisters and had a wonderful and relaxing few days.

Perfect weekend lake house

This was a perfect place to be together with friends and family. Small enough to feel together but large enough to not be right on top of each other. Awesome outdoor space and the dock is great. Would absolutely come back to this place!

Comfortable house

The house itself was really nice. There is wifi, but the tv they have is just hooked up to a DVD player, which was fine for us. Check in was really easy, and it was just the right size for us. The path down to the dock needs some work, but the dock is nice. There is no zero point entry into the lake though, which we did not realize. The only place to get into the lake is the dock. I think with older kids, this would not be a big deal, just something to be aware of. Overall though, it was nice.

We keep coming back.

This was our second time checking in at this property. We LOVE the property, the home, the lake, etc. while there is wifi on the property, there is not a strong service connect, which is what we want. We want to disconnect. The home is always so clean and cozy. We are planning another trip again soon.

Great Getaway

Very nice home on the lake to stay. I took my parents that are 80 and they really enjoyed themselves. Little hard for them on the steps down to the water but it worked out. Home super clean and I mean super clean! They have added wifi and that made it nice. Great to getaway and unplug......only one tv, in the living room. Take DVD's if you need the tv. Kitchen was great, lots of room and all clean! We had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer but real life has to happen........ Oh, loved the screened porch!

Great place, terrible management

When I booked the location, the listing said internet was available, and at the same time I asked a question. The management company never replied. On the day where it was too late to cancel, I received a confirmation email that said no Internet was available. Since it was too late to cancel, I continued with my plans hoping I would have a signal for my phone and could use my hotspot. When I arrived at the house, I had no signal but thankfully there is Wi-Fi available. I will not be booking anything that is managed by Evolve again.

Nice off the grid stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay! The home is cute and has a cabin/lodge feel. The kitchen has some essentials (pots and pans, dishes, cups, silverware). The back of the property is amazing! We loved spending time on the dock. We did not have service on our phones, except for an area on the dock that we had one bar, but that is what we were glad we didn’t have. Sometimes it’s nice to unplug and get away. We brought our own movies to watch on tv, but there are also some kid friendly movies that were left. There is a grocery store and a gas station about 5 minutes up the road, and Walmart was about 15-20 minutes away if we needed to run to the store for anything. Overall, we loved our stay and we are already planning on coming back next summer.

AMAZING

Was the most amazing and relaxing time. We have a very stressful business and the two weeks that we spent there with no cell phone, TV or internet was just heaven. I have never had a more relaxing and rested vacation. I can't recommend this enough. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking.
