"Creekside Comfort"

Immagina l'atmosfera di relax davanti a un accogliente caminetto con un fuoco luminoso all'interno di un'affascinante e autentica baita. Quindi immagina di sederti accanto a un fuoco scoppiettante mentre il torrente scorre vicino ... Questa è una vacanza e Creekside Comfort è il posto perfetto! Questa cabina si trova nella pittoresca comunità di Todd, NC, famosa per Todd Mercantile e RiverGirl Fishing Company, dove è possibile noleggiare canoe e pagaiare lungo la panoramica New River, oppure noleggiare una bicicletta per un giro su Railroad Grade Road che corre accanto il New River. Ti insegnano persino come volare i pesci se sei così incline!

Dal momento in cui entri in "Creekside Comfort" ti sentirai sicuramente a casa. Una cucina / sala da pranzo calda e accogliente ti saluta. Dotata di un camino a gas, un tavolo da pranzo per quattro con un pigro susan e persino una caffettiera Keurig, la cucina è ben attrezzata per preparare uno spuntino veloce o anche un pasto completo. Ci sono sgabelli per sedili per trattori intorno all'isola della cucina, quindi tutta la famiglia può passare il tempo insieme mentre il pasto viene cucinato.

La zona giorno è una spaziosa veranda con tronchi di gas, schermo piatto, TV a parete sopra il camino e accesso al ponte anteriore e posteriore dal torrente. Rannicchiarsi sul comodo divano in pelle con poltrone reclinabili su ogni estremità e guardare un buon film. Apri le persiane e lascia che la natura risplenda attraverso le molte finestre.

Sempre a livello principale si trova la camera matrimoniale con letto matrimoniale con TV a schermo piatto e bagno privato con vasca e doccia.

Al piano superiore c'è un'altra camera da letto a soppalco con un comodo letto matrimoniale, una sedia a dondolo e un bagno di servizio.

Siedi un incantesimo sulla veranda coperta coperta e ascolta il flusso gorgogliante - che sicuramente ti toglierà tutte le preoccupazioni ... o accenderà un fuoco nel focolaio vicino al torrente, arrostirà alcuni marshmallow e catturerà alcune lucciole!

The inside was of the cabin was clean but the bed was super springy. My wife and I had to sleep separate due to this.

I have never given a bad review, but this cabin missed the mark. The location is great! We’ve actually stayed in another cabin in that area before, but this cabin itself is lacking. The outside could use some sprucing up. The stream behind the cabin is wonderful, but the old lumber, wood, sawhorses and mess piled under the house looks awful.The charcoal grill is like one in a park. The inside of the cabin is okay. Not as bright as it looks in the pictures. There are light switches everywhere and it’s difficult to figure out what one turns on what light. Several lights had blown bulbs. The kitchen eating utensils were skinny tiny forks. If you want to cook breakfast, you need to take your own frying pan. The 2 there are small and everything sticks. There was no dishcloth to wash the dishes with. The master bed was not comfortable and we could never get the tv to come on in there. The good things about this cabin - location, neighborhood, stream, wildlife

This cabin checked ALL the boxes. Awesome vibe in the cabin and walk around the cabin to a creek and walk the neighborhood for fresh air. Absolutely loved it and would stay again next weekend! TY

Great location. Quiet neighborhood out in the country yet only than 10 minutes from West Jefferson. Cabin was small but very neat and clean. Especially enjoyed being able to sit by a fire beside the creek. Would stay here again the next time we vacation in the area.

My family was in town to go tubing. The house was perfect for our needs. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the creek. Highly recommend.

Many places are geared towards high occupancy and sometimes it’s hard to find a place for a private getaway. Having two bathrooms was a huge plus! This is the second time we’ve stayed in this neighborhood at different locations. Amazing use of reclaimed log homes one after another. Absolutely beautiful!

Cute log cabin, large washer & dryer, porches are safe for dogs, loud running creek, deer, lots of lights inside & out, clean, screened windows for fresh air, charcoal grill by creek, firepit, stocked kitchen utensils, looks secluded but isn’t, deep kitchen sink are just a few things I really liked.

Enjoyed listening to the peaceful creek from the sunroom with the windows open and also the back deck. Nice firm queen bed slept great. Happy to see a step in shower and a comfort height elongated toilet. Sleeping loft looked good for younger visitors. Kitchen worked well, had pod and drip coffee makers. Wish we could have stayed longer. R&B, 70+ year olds

Love the neighborhood and the coziness of the cabin. The rushing creek is fabulous. Aside from a few hiccups, we enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very responsive and helped resolve the hiccups quickly. The cabin was clean, but could use a deep clean. The bed in the master should be upgraded to a queen size.

If you’re looking for quiet and easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, this house is for you. The house was well stocked and just as advertised. We love the peace and quiet and sitting outside on the porch with a glass of wine in the evening. This is a wonderful comfy cabin, and we would certainly come back.

It’s not a big cabin but was perfect size for two or four people to stay, the creek is right at the deck and we would just sit and listen to the water running. Quite neighbors and friendly, it was just like being in the middle of the woods alone. Deer everywhere, one came right up to the deck and when walking our dogs some about ten feet in front of us came across, the water in the house is ten times better than any bottled water, good and cold. Would stay again ❤️🦋.

Beautiful cabin with comfortable bedrooms and living room. Really nice porch and fire pit by the stream - enjoyed the outdoor furniture. Had a few small issues - repeatedly struggled to get the front door lock to open, couldn’t find the remote for the gas fireplace, couldn’t get streaming services to work on the tv, couldn’t figure out the shower head in the master bathroom, didn’t like the black grime around the bottom of the master shower, and someone got locked in the upstairs bathroom (because the lock is on the outside). But that didn’t diminish how much we enjoyed staying here. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

It was just as pictured and described. The creek snaked through the neighborhood and could be heard and seen as we walked the dogs. It was clean and inviting with all the conveniences of home. It is centrally located to shopping and sightseeing. There are other cabins nearby but you hardly notice them as they blend into the landscape making you feel like you are alone in the woods. We LOVED it and can't wait to return!

Cute as a button, rustic look and feel but very clean and comfortable. Everything needed for an easy stay. Creek along the cabin was delightful!!! In a community but felt very private and secluded. Good beds!! Downtown of W Jefferson is a great little spot to visit, don’t miss stopping by for dining, ice cream and shopping. Thanks, we hope to return.

We loved the rustic cabin, had all the amenities needed. Close to shopping, West Jefferson is awesome. Blue Ridge Parkway near, great restaurants. Communication was awesome, price was spot on. Highly recommend.
