  • Situata a pochi km da Todi, la famosa cittadina medievale, Torre del Pettirosso è una splendida residenza di campagna in posizione collinare dominante , ricostruita con le pietre originali sopra le antiche fondamenta di una torre di avvistamento medievale.

    Oggi la Torre del Pettirosso offre la possibilità a visitatori amanti di storia, natura e realx di trascorrere soggiorni indimenticabili anche perche la bellezza e la magia del luogo sono rimasti esattamente quelli di una volta.....

    La struttura si compone di due livelli, ciascuno dei quali corrisponde ad un appartamento indipendente, e di una piccola guest House collegata al resto della casa da un antico arco che fà da finestra tra due valli.

    . Nel portico circostante, si può pranzare e godere di assoluta pace e relax nella splendida campagna umbra godendo di una splendida vista su Todi.
    Il giardino, si presenta come uno splendido terrazzo naturale con panorami quasi magici, nel quale è stata ricavata una confortevole piscina in prossimità del bosco

    Piano terra: soggiorno/sala da pranzo con camino, ampia cucina, zona relax ed 1 bagno; 1 camera matrimoniale con bagno interno con vasca;
    1camera matrimoniale ed 1 camera doppia con un bagno in comune con doccia.
    Primo piano: (accesso tramite scale esterne) Sala da pranzo con angolo cottura, 1 bagno con doccia, un piccolo salotto ed un soppalco con letto matrimoniale. Piccolo portico con tavolino per la colazione.

Our stay at the villa was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, providing a central base for day trips to the surrounding towns, where we enjoyed authentic restaurants, beautiful wineries, historic sites, and some of the best wines Italy has to offer.There was a convenient local supermarket nearby with everything we needed, making our stay even more comfortable. The villa itself was spacious, with plenty of room for two families, and featured breathtaking panoramic views and a refreshing pool that was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring.Our host, Gian, was exceptional. He was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities throughout our stay. One of his best suggestions was arranging a private chef to prepare dinner at the villa one evening—it ended up being the best meal we had during our entire trip!We highly recommend this villa and would gladly stay here again.

We loved our stay in Torre del Mago - a spacious and beautiful villa with expansive gardens, pool, and stunning panoramic countryside views. Gian is a very warm and friendly host, extremely helpful offering many suggestions for where to visit, recommendations for local restaurants, which for our stay included a fun night at a local village Marcellano, for their special Vin Canta festival event, where we enjoyed fabulous local food, wine and live music. The villa is very well equipped, and in a fabulous location for visiting many of the Umbrian hilltop towns, as well as local olive oil and wine tasting experiences. We thoroughly recommend Villa Torre del Mago, and we would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay and especially loved Gian’s very helpful advice and recommendations. He made reservations for us for dinner and wine tasting, arranged a wonderful chef’s dinner at the villa, and was immediately responsive to our requests. He is so kind and warm that we feel we have made a new friend in Italy! The villa is peaceful, quiet, beautiful and well equipped. It is ideally situated less than one hour from many places to visit including Orvieto and. Assisi, as well as just 15 min from cute and lively Todi. We highly recommend the Jacopono restaurant in Todi for a delicious meal!

The villa is ideally located for exploring the beautiful historic towns of Todi, Assisi, Orvieto, Perugia, Loreto, among other.A special thank you to Gian, whose hospitality was exceptional. He made us feel completely at home and was always attentive to ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. The dinner prepared at the villa by Chef Daniel and sous-chef Giosué was exquisite—one of the highlights of our trip.The beautiful gardens, fragrant flowers, and constant connection with nature added to the magic of the experience. Torre del Mago is a truly special place where history, beauty, and hospitality come together. We leave with wonderful memories and hope to return someday.

We loved everything about this place! our host Gian, was great! We were a group of 10, mostly young adults and two teens. Gian was able to provide 2 extra small beds, so we could have all the girls together in one room. That worked out really well. I really wish we could have stayed longer and that the weather was nicer. Our stay was in January of 2026. One great plus was the fireplace!

We stayed at the villa for a week as a group of nine, and the house suited us perfectly. One couple had their own flat, another had a private entrance on the second floor (with a small kitchen), and the rest of us stayed comfortably in the main house.The garden and the views were absolutely beautiful. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the lovely outdoor space where we had many of our lunches and dinners. There is also a very nice 9 km walk that starts right at the house and takes you around the surrounding hills — good shoes and good spirits are recommended for the steeper parts.One of the highlights of our stay was having a chef come to the villa one evening to cook a wonderful meal and share stories about the region. It was also very easy to reach the nearby villages by car, all of them charming and well worth a visit. Thanks to our host Gian’s excellent recommendations, we found several fantastic restaurants.Overall, it was a wonderful stay, made even better by our fantastic host Gian, who made everything smooth and effortless for us. We would really like to visit again.

Großartige Villa in herrlicher Lage. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Großer Pool. Fantastische Aussicht. Gastgeber Gian ist überaus hilfsbereit,weit über das übliche Maß hinaus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und planen wieder zu kommen. Auch das Kochen mit Chef hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein- und Auschecken absolut unkompliziert. Eins der besten Häuser die wir je hatten.

The spectacular view at sunset, the serene location, the large deep pool, the soft comfortable beds and bedrooms, the air con, the host were all absolutely fantastic. 8 of us for a week in 36c heat and it was stunning. We had a terrific time exploring the local area and wider region. Gian (host) you did a great job. We look forward to coming back soon.

Umbrian tranquility

A really lovely villa that was well equipped in a beautiful location with unspoilt views. The air con was a lovely edition during the hot nights. Great area for exploring the rest of Umbria..Todi, Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, all worth a visit. Would definitely recommend.

Beyond our expectations

Everything about this villa is exceptional…great location, beautiful views, fantastic host, so much to see & do or just stay at the villa & enjoy the pool. Gian’s recommendations for restaurants, wineries & experiences were all amazing. Todi, Orvieto & Montefalco were highlights for our group. We even loved our almost daily visits to the nearby supermarket :) Gian went above & beyond to make our stay a memorable experience. I would thoroughly recommend his villa ; some of us even hope to return.

The best thing about Gian’s villa is… Gian. What a wonderful host. On one evening he accompanied our family of 7 to a local food festival in a tiny medieval village. It was a magical evening. We also highly recommend the pasta class with Daniel. I’m typically a hard sell on group activities, but the evening was so much fun, and Daniel cooked and served us a wonderful meal - he needs to charge more! The villa itself feels rustic and authentic, but at the same time luxurious. The layout is perfect with 3 bedrooms on the main floor separated by a large kitchen that is totally kitted out, a comfy living room and dining tables inside and out. Our older kids and their partners stayed in the separate guest cottage and the 2-level tower room - everyone has complete privacy and yet can share the lovely common areas. The giant pool is spectacular, and the poolside mini-fridge super handy. The villa’s location at the top of a ridge offers beautiful views in all directions - we could see four hilltop towns! Todi is a wonderfully preserved medieval town that feels lived in rather than touristy, full of Italian families wandering in the evening. There are lots of excellent restaurants with terraces - we especially enjoyed Osteria del duomo at the foot of the duomo stairs, opened last year by two young chefs from Tuscany. For provisions, Gian will point you in the direction of the butcher and the excellent Emi Supermercado. What a fantastic week! Thank you Gian. The Hoey-St Clair family.

Hase Family Sibling Reunion

We were 7 adults all over 50 years old. There were ample bedrooms and baths. We used the villa primarily as a base to get out and see Umbria, e.g., Todi, Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Montefalco, Orvieto. The villa is much too nice just to be used as a base, it has great views on a large, beautiful property with many sitting and lying possibilities. Gian is the best host possible, always ready to assist, advise, recommend, AND available. A great place and a wonderful host.

Fairytale Stay

Absolutely gorgeous property which had us feeling like we were in a fairytale. I’m surprised the birds and squirrels didn’t come in and help me make my bed each day. The views are stunning and the peaceful surroundings are so relaxing. We had chefs for breakfast and dinner - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Gian is helpful and knowledgeable and really puts effort into making sure the stay and the home are top notch. Thank you, Gian! We are just driving away and I miss it already.

Wir hatten gemeinsam mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern mit Partnerinnen und Kleinkind und Geschwistern einen wunderbaren Familienaufenthalt. Die Villa ist hierfür hervorragend ausgestattet. Unser Gastgeber Gian war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat viele gute Tipps für Ausflüge und gute einheimische Lokale, sowie für aktuelle Veranstaltungen in der näheren Umgebung gemacht. Im sehr geschmackvoll angelegten Garten und im und am Pool haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betten waren bequem und die Badezimmer sauber und gepflegt. Sogar ein Gemüsebeet zur Nutzung der Villabesucher stand zur Verfügung.Die Villa steht auf einem Hügel und bietet einen Rundumblick auf die herrliche weite Landschaft Umbriens. Alle unsere Mitreisenden waren begeistert.

A great sized property with all the facilities that you need. Massive landscape gardens with a good sized pool and vegetable plot. The views were amazing. Air conditioning in all rooms which was a great asset. The host, Gian, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Because of his knowledge, we attended local festivals and we had a reasonably priced chef come in and cook for us, which was more of an experience than just being catered for as we were all able to get involved. Gian kindly accompanied us to the lovely town of Todi and after took us to an authentic restaurant and where we enjoyed a lovely Italian meal. A car is needed but it is well worth a visit and we hope to return. Thank you Gian for making this a special holiday for us.

Beautiful Villa

What a trip! Gian (the host) was extremely helpful, our luggage was left behind at a different airport, Gian was extremely understanding about our delay and even arranged some food for us! He was always available to call and made our stay fantastic. The villa itself was stunning, lovely panoramic views of the area and very private without being in the middle of nowhere. The house was split into various apartments however we only used the bottom floor, which was more than enough. The kitchen was better than our own, everything was beautifully furnished and comfortable (especially the pool!). The garden was huge with lots of seating area, lawn etc and we never had any issues. Thank you so much for a wonderful time Gian!

Siblings Get Together

This was a sibling w/spouses get together. We spent a week at the place. Very comfortable with rooms as promised;3 in the main floor with one upstairs and on separated from the house. Had all that you needed. Had porch off main living area for dining and couches for relaxing. Shoppping in town was 6 minutes away. Host was excellent very welcoming and friendly. I would stay here again. Host provided his contact info and responded quickly to our questions. Rated as 5 star would rate higher if possible both for host and property.

Amazing stay in the country side

Perfect place for a relaxing vacation. It was very hot during our stay, but this was no problem because the house and the surroundings was so beautiful. The host was extremely helpful with information and suggestions on what to see and do, during our stay. We have never met such an engaged host. The view from the house and the pool was spectacular, with the real feel of the Italian country side. Even the last part of the road was dirt road, so don't bring your Ferrari :-). We were 9 people, two families and only adults. The house were perfect for that. Very spacious and good rooms for everybody. There are a lot of nice things and gorgeous towns in the area if you don't want to spend all the time in the pool. Thanks a lot Gian from all 9 of us for a fantastic stay.

Fantastic experience

The villa is great! There is enough space for everyone, the rooms and beds are large and clean, each room has a bathroom! Fully functional kitchen with everything you need and a fantastic garden with large pool! The highlight is Gian the host who goes above and beyond to make your stay extremely comfortable and pleasant. He has some awesome recommendations for trips, restaurants, things to do etc and is constantly busy making bookings and making sure everything is taken care of. One thing I highly recommend is to get a chef to cook for you. The local food is fantastic and seeing (and learning if you like from) a professional chef is absolutely worth it. If you're looking to go to Umbria and this villa is available don't wait any longer and make the booking now, you will not regret it!

Tolle Villa mit einzigartigem Ausblick

Die sehr schöne Villa liegt auf einer Anhöhe in ruhiger Alleinlage. Wir waren mit 2 Familien (jeweils 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) in der Villa untergebracht. Die Villa war dafür perfekt aufgeteilt, so dass jeder seinen Rückzugsbereich hatte. Der Garten ist groß und gepflegt und bietet einen herrlichen Rundumblick auf die Landschaft Umbriens und auf das schöne mittelalterliche Städtchen Todi. Der Pool ist traumhaft und perfekt zum Schwimmen geeignet. Ausflugsziele im Umkreis sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir haben z. B. von Orte aus einen Tagesausflug mit dem Zug nach Rom unternommen. Gian war ein toller Gastgeber, der jederzeit erreichbar war und uns mit wertvollen Tipps versorgt hat. Vielen Dank nochmal an Gian. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt dort.
