Hotel vicino a Tolson's Chapel - Sharpsburg

“Where to start? With the welcome packet hanging on the door. My husband and I approached the Inn on the afternoon of May 31, 2026. On the door, we found a welcome packet with a page inside directed to "Expedia Guest." A copy of this is attached. In the attached note, Mark introduced himself and then started complaining about Expedia. In the fourth paragraph of the note, he days the commission Expedia takes "makes it tough for small inns like ours." In the fifth paragraph, I kid you not,...

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast area did not have enough tables; people had to stand up to eat. Parking was good. TV SERVICE WAS BEYOND HORRIBLE ... 1st night there staff couldn't get the TV to work. Who needs 2 thousand channels that don't work. I was told there was a fix in the works. I wanted to check in early and the staff was accommodating but it came at a price. The room was noisy. Sounded like boiling or gargling water in the walls, plus, there was construction work going...

“Il soggiorno e' stato piacevole nonostante il fatto che abbiamo dovuto chiedere il cambio delle lenzuola che sembravano usate. La persona al desk e' stata responsive e gentile. L' hotel e' ben posizionato rispetto ad Harpers Ferry anche se isolato da altre facilita'.Non abbaino consumato la colazione che sembrava minimale e di scarsissima qualità'. Prezzo economico. Nonostante tutto un rapporto sufficiente fra prezzo e qualità'.”

“Excellent location with lots of easy free parking. Chef made us a delicious, large portion, plated breakfast each morning. She was extremely helpful answering questions about the property, surrounding sites and places to dine for dinner. Bonus- "The Barn" is located right next to the Inn and had live entertainment both nights we stayed. I highly recommend this Inn if looking to stay in Harper's Ferry!!”

“Staff was wonderful. Hotel is older but kept up well for the most part. Breakfast had lots of options daily. I enjoyed the water with lemon in the lobby. Workout room is pretty spartan, but was adequate. Pool area is on the small side. Room was clean. Would definitely stay there again.”

“The room was small but comfortable. The bed was too soft, but that's just me. I prefer a much firmer than average mattress. Having the diner right on site was great. The service was awesome & the breakfast delicious. I'd have no problem staying here again, or even just coming to eat.”
