“This was a lovely get away from the city - about 4 hours from Chicago with an easy drive. It's a new to renting so we were one of the first renters. “We had a family reunion up in northern Wisconsin and i needed a place that was close to my uncles place but also allowed dogs and this place was perfect! It was close to everything from Walmart, to downtown, shops! The house was very nice and perfect for 3 adults and my pup. “Very cozy cabin located on Pelican Lake. Parked our boat on the pier that was very close to the cabin. Although the other cabin next door was very close, there were no issues or disturbances with the occupants. Small yard between the cabin and the lake that was very well maintained with a picnic table and shared grill. There is a bar next door, did not hear any comotion from that direction at all. “Kris’ cabin is lovely. The view from the living room is idyllic, especially at sunset. The cabin has been thoughtfully restored to give the classic northern WI feel. We’ve been coming to this area for decades and this cabin is one of our favorites. The beds and bedding were comfy, the pellet stove worked well on the chilly nights and the lake access is ideal. The WiFi streamed movies effortlessly on the smart TV. The owners are next door but the cabin is set up such that it feels really private....

“Our stay was perfect! For others browsing reviews, there is a hair dryer, toaster and some leftover spices, coffee, filters etc. The private boat ramp was SO nice!! Our family of 5 was able to spread out in each bed and not share. We had a rain day so we did a puzzle that was there. The kiddos played a board game. The only thing I thought of that I had forgotten was a deck of cards. We will plan a trip back to the cabin when we go back North!! Thank you!!!”

“Clean, with great amenities for our fishing trip. Exactly as pictured and a good fit for our party of 6. Upstairs bathroom a big plus, tho water pressure limited showering up there.
