4BR, 2.5 BA Private WATERFRONT home with in law suite. Great for large families

You are welcome to EVERYTHING the Barnegat Bay has to offer. Enjoy your morning sunrises and star struck evenings in our quiet lagoon front home amidst a boater’s paradise. Head to one of the area beaches or boardwalks, kayak or crab from the back door. Truly enjoy life at the Jersey shore for everything it has to offer.
The layout: first floor includes full kitchen amenities, living room, 1 full bathroom (tub), 3 bedrooms, and opens to backyard patio with 60’ dock frontage with outdoor shower. Second floor boasts the best views of sunset on the balcony, spacious separate living area with kitchenette, large bedroom, another full bathroom (shower) and washer/dryer.
Things to do: enjoy walking or bicycling around Green Island’s secluded bay front community. Kayak or SUP from the dock down any number of the lagoons, or enjoy the waterfowl in the nearby marshes. The association beach is 0.2 mi walk from the house, which includes a gated playground for children with adult supervision. There is a clubhouse as well. The private, “adult” Point bay Beach is 0.4mi from the house and sitting areas, beach yoga and views of Chadwick Beach, Shore Acres yacht club, and Seaside Bridge. Ortley beach(12mi) seaside heights boardwalk(11mi) point pleasant beach boardwalk(13mi), Lavallette(12mi): Island beach state park(17mi) Outlet shopping(19mi), six flags great adventure/safari park/hurricane harbor (17mi).
Amenities include: fishing poles, crab traps, bicycles, drink coolers, kayaks (1-person & 2-person)

It is worth mentioning that there is a fee for dock usage for personal water crafts and boats.
Personal water craft- $50/day
Boats- $100/day
Proof of insurance and boating license MUST be provided prior to check-in

Thanksgiving 2024

Always wanted to rent a house in a bay community. We brought a boat and family for the week. We lucked into a few warm days. We enjoyed the sheltered harbor (Sandpiper Bay), the birds and architecture. We enjoyed the proximity to Island Beach State Park. We really like the beach at Green Island point. It was a great and relaxing stay.

Great location

We had a very nice week. The house was very clean and was perfect for our family. We enjoyed sitting out everyday on the back deck which was so relaxing. We will definitely stay here again in the future as we have family nearby. It's also convenient to a lot of restaurants and not too far to the beach. Thank you Ashley for sharing your home with us! Nice for large family

He house was nice and fit our family of 7 comfortably. House was clean upon arrival and the decor was nice. Property manager reached out shortly soon arrival so we had open communication if we needed it. Scenery was pleasant overall we were satisfied.

Peaceful

We gathered to get together with family and have a peaceful stay and that’s what we did. It rained for several days but we didn’t even care. The kitchen was very well equipped so we had some great meals. The seagulls, geese and ducks were very entertaining, and the neighbors were very nice. We had a great stay. Thank you Ashley for being so prompt in answering all of our questions.

Perfect Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this home. The view is amazing, especially at sunset. Ashley and Ryan could not have been any more accommodating. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat. They even left fishing poles ready to use. Our family enjoyed crabbing right off their dock and had a delicious crab dinner. House was very clean and had EVERYTHING you needed. Looking forward to going back next summer!

Great stay, shore memory-maker

The house exceeded our expectations. We LOVED that we didn’t have to walk up a ton of stairs to get into and out of the house, which is common at the shore these days. GOODBYE bungalows, HELLO shore sky scrapers! The house was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials to cook at home. It was great for our multigenerational stay, with plenty of places for everyone to relax (even sleeping grandchildren). The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. First time staying on this side of the bridge, and we WILL be back. We really enjoyed the beautiful mornings and nights. The dock was great to fish and crab from. The outdoor shower was great. The hosts were very accommodating, made sure we had life jackets for the kids. My grandkids loved the bay beaches and playground. We will be back for more memories next year if it’s not booked!

Highly recommend

Quiet, clean, family-friendly stay. We loved the backyard and amazing views. Peaceful morning coffee upstairs and gorgeous sunset and stars in the evening. The house had a ton of bonus amenities, which we totally used. Fully stocked kitchen and new stove for easy cooking, new grill for BBQ. Not sure about the previous review (no hot tub), but we had an exceptional time, and we would highly recommend. We loved the twinkle light outdoor shower in the evening after the beach. Ryan and Ashley were wonderful hosts who certainly love the Barnegat Bay and sharing it with their guests. They gave a ton of local kayaking and boating suggestions to check out, which was awesome. My kids loved crabbing and fishing right off the dock. We are sure to stay again!

Nice views

Views and area are great. Hot tub didnt work even tho we were told it would be fixed prior to our arrival. Oven only works on broil … there are not 4 bathrooms as the listing says, there’s 2 full baths, 1 toilet room, and outdoor shower that’s just a pipe sticking out. Nice house for a temp rental . I was looking for a snowbird home in the area since we have family fairly close…host was good she got back to me within a few hours. Also oddly there were gun casings left in a drawer that I wasn’t to happy about as my kids were with us…if they weren’t in their 20’s i would be more than upset for them to find that. Overall the rental was nice.

Bay beauty!!

If you’re looking for QUIET, peaceful R&R On the water, away from the TINY, hard-to-park, hustle by the beach, LOOK NO FURTHER! Easy check in. Able to work and enjoy the sound of the gulls. House had everything needed, the water stuff was an ADDED BONUS. Our insane friend even enjoyed the outdoor shower (said he felt like a Norwegian in the cool April temps with the HOT water!) Will be back in the summer season FOR SURE! Island in the Sun for sure!
