  • Lo Stable Cottage dell'Hamptons Farmhouse si trova nella splendida area rurale tra i villaggi di Plaxtol e West Peckham, vicino a Sevenoaks e Tonbridge nel Kent, il Giardino d'Inghilterra. Incredibilmente silenzioso e pacifico, situato in 9 acri di terra, tutto ciò che si può vedere è la campagna ondulata, eppure siamo a soli 32 miglia dal centro di Londra con tutti i suoi teatri, attrazioni turistiche, negozi e attività culturali.

    Le quattro case vacanza includono Stable Cottage, Willow Cottage Dairy Cottage e Little Apple Barn, tutte splendide conversioni, rifinite secondo uno standard molto elevato e tutte traggono vantaggio dalla posizione eccezionale e dalle strutture dell'Hamptons Farmhouse.

    Sul nostro sito di 9 acri c'è così tanto da fare: oltre i cottage si svolgono gli splendidi giardini con laghetto delle anatre su cui è possibile pagaiare sulla barca a remi. O giocare a ping-pong all'aperto sotto il riparo del fienile; prendi il tè pomeridiano sui prati o se ti senti più energico gioca a croquet o addirittura a tennis nei campi per tutte le stagioni.

    Il sito dell'Hamptons Farmhouse è molto adatto ai bambini, è sicuro e protetto (comprese le aree acquatiche) ma è pieno di avventura ed eccitazione. Il "forte" è una struttura da arrampicata mimetizzata con altalene, barre delle scimmie, parete da arrampicata e filo con zip da 40 m. Accanto al gigantesco albero di sequoia, su cui pendono altalene e trapezio, si trova il massiccio trampolino Jump King super 17 "x 12". La vera roulotte zingara è un luogo accogliente dove rilassarsi per bambini e adulti. Tane segrete, una casetta dei sette boschi nani, arrampicarsi sugli alberi, una casa sull'albero nei boschi, pozzi di sabbia, aree per bambini e campi da gioco e animali da fattoria contribuiscono a rendere l'esperienza beata.

    Per gli adulti, ci sono così tante aree dei giardini e dei terreni dove è possibile sedersi e leggere; ascolta il canto degli uccelli o semplicemente passeggia. Abbondano le passeggiate locali, una passa ai margini della nostra terra e ti porta attraverso i frutteti verso meravigliosi pub locali come il Kentish Rifleman o 20 minuti di passeggiata rurale nell'altra direzione fino allo Swan sul ristorante del pub Green con il suo microbirrificio per coloro che piace provare birre locali. Il WiFi è super veloce poiché abbiamo una linea in fibra all'interno della proprietà. Dovresti ottenere una velocità di 20-200 Mb.

    Le quattro case vacanza, Stable Cottage, Willow Cottage, Dairy Cottage e Little Apple Barn presso Hamptons Farmhouse sono il rifugio perfetto dal trambusto della nostra vita frenetica ma un viaggio facile a Londra a poco più di un'ora di distanza e solo 35 minuti da Sevenoaks a Charring Cross. Da lì il London Eye, il teatro terrestre, il Covent Garden, Leicester Square e West

absolutely idyllic!

This was our 4th stay with Andy and Katie, we love it and will be coming again next year. It is so beautiful here and there is so much for the kids to do - we can't get enough of it. Andy and Katie are super helpful and friendly and so generous with their time and space, it's fantastic. A real antidote to city life.

Idyllic family holiday

Converted farm buildings in the middle of the Kentish countryside, with everything children could possibly want: zip wire, gypsy caravan, tennis court, tree house, lake, rabbits - as well as the odd mobility scooter. This is one holiday where children won't complain about being bored. But it's not just the children who will have an unforgettable time. The cottage is within pleasant country walking distance of two excellent pubs, and there are a range of different national trust castles and gardens all easily accessible. And if you want a day out in London you can also get there within an hour by driving to the train station. Overall this is a fabulous holiday home and the owners - Andy and Katie - are the perfect hosts, hospitable and welcoming and also ready to help whenever you have a question. So for an English country holiday with the family you can't do better than this. Which is why we have now been back four years running!

toller Urlaub auf sehr schönem Gelände

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und alles was man braucht. Die Kinder fanden das Gelände am besten, sehr viele Spielmöglichkeiten und vor allem das große Trampolin. Für die Eltern gibt es viele Sitzgelegenheiten auf dem Gelände. Sehr schön ist der Entenmarsch von kleinen Teich zum Stall, immer wieder lustig. Eine wunderbare Ruhe hat man zum Erholen und ist trotzdem schnell in Tonbridge zum Einkaufen oder Eis essen. Nach London kommt man auch schnell mit dem Zug.

Perfekter Urlaub

Wir wohnten als Familie mit zwei Kindern (11, 8) eine Woche im Stable Cottage bei Andy und Katie. Als wir ankamen wartete schon der Gastgeber Andy, begrüßte uns herzlich und zeigte uns die Unterkunft und das Anwesen. Im Cottage stand neben einem sehr umfangreichen Willkommenspaket (u. a. Kaffee, Brot, Butter, Marmelade, Milch, Wein) ein frischer Blumenstrauß. Wir fühlten uns sofort gut aufgehoben. Das Cottage war in hervorragendem Zustand, sehr gut ausgestattet und wunderbar eingerichtet. Das Anwesen selbst ist ein Paradies für Kinder und Eltern: Jede Menge Platz, viele schöne Orte zum Verweilen und sehr viele Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder (u. a. eine Seilbahn!) und Eltern (Tennisplatz). Der nächste Ort, Tonbridge, ist sehr gut an London angebunden. Man ist von dort in knapp 35 Minuten in London. Perfekt für eine Verbindung von Sightseeing in London und Urlaub auf dem Land.

A Paradise for Children!

This is really a fantastic place to visit with young children. The sheer amount of play equipment is overwhelming, and the atmosphere on the English countryside is stunning. Andy and Katie are wonderful hosts, and the cottage is nicely furnished and richly equipped. Highly recommended!

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub in Kent

In den Osterferien 2018 haben wir eine Woche im Stable Cottage wohnen dürfen. Das Cottage hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Einrichtung passte gut zum Charme des Hauses und vermittelte direkt ein Wohlfühlgefühl. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Vermieter hatten eine Essensgrundausstattung und ein nettes Ostergeschenk zum Einzug überreicht. Das direkte Umfeld des Hauses ist zum Spielen für Kinder sehr gut geeignet. Es sind viele Spielgeräte zur Nutzung vorhanden. Das Highlight war für unseren Sohn der schöne Tennisplatz. Auf dem Hof leben neben Enten, Kaninchen auch Hühner, die sich gerne füttern lassen. Wir würden die Unterkunft für einen nächsten Urlaub in Kent auf jeden Fall auswählen.

Gemütliches Ferienhäuschen auf wunderschönem Hof

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern (9, 12 und 14 Jahren) eine sehr schöne Herbstwoche im Stable Cottage verbracht. Das Cottage ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich und qualitativ hochwertig eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist für Kinder aber auch für Eltern ein Traum. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt, es gab ein üppiges Willkommenspaket und eine sehr hilfreiche Infomappe. Highlight der Kinder waren die Ponys und die Seilbahn, die Eltern haben sich besonders an dem allmorgendlichen Besuch der Hühner und der Laufentenparade erfreut. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, die Kinder fragen schon, wann wir das nächste Mal fahren.

Außergewöhnlich gutes, romantisches Cottage

Die Besitzer haben sich sehr viel Mühe mit der Renovierung des ehem. Stalles gegeben. Alles ist mit Auge fürs Detail eingerichtet, hochwertig und sauber. Für Kinder (insbes. jüngere) ist es ein Paradies, die Außenanlage ist großartig! Meinem Mann und mir hat u. a. die Möglichkeit, Tennis zu spielen, sehr gefallen. Die Nähe zu London und diverse Reiseziele in der Nähe machen dieses Cottage zudem sehr attraktiv. Da die "Gastfamilie" selbst fünf Kinder hat, ist es auch nicht ausgeschlossen, dass sich der ein oder andere "Smalltalk" ergibt, ganz nach Belieben...

Home away from home!

We, a Dutch family with two kids (10 & 7) spend a wonderful week in Willow Cottage. We received a very nice welcome on arrival, including a welcome package with diffent foods and fruit. Andy and Katie are good hosts. The pictures give a good idea of what you can expect. The cottage was very clean and cosy. We choose this cottage but next time we'll pick one of the other cottages with real beds instead of the sofabed. The surroundings are really pretty. There are several hiking paths directly from the property. We enjoyed the views! Our kids especially liked all the play areas Andy and Katie made for kids to play. We have made several trips to London, during our stay. We took the train from Borough Green station (ca 15 min drive) and within 45 min we were in the middle of London at Victoria Station. With the travelcard which we bought on the station we were able to use the busses as well as the underground. Worked really well. Our kids travelled for £1 each by train, the subs were free for them. We would definately stay here again and recommend it to you!

Wonderful country stay

We had already stayed at one of Andy and Katie's French properties which we very much enjoyed. We were not disappointed when we stayed at the Kent property. The cottages are within a fully modernised stable building which retains the charm of the country setting but is modern and very comfortable. Andy and Katie are awesome hosts providing all you need for your stay including great information packs with information on things to do around the area. Our children (who vary in age from 7 to 17) enjoyed exploring the property and watching Andy try and catch moles! Thanks for a wonderful stay we will be back.

Well equipped and very clean.Decor lovely

Warm comfortable cottage.Ample room for a family ,with small loft area for a couple of children within one of the bedrooms. Always nice to have a welcome pack especially if you are late arriving. The owners are helpful and friendly and welcome children .They have 5 of their own and understand the needs of small children and that is why they have plenty of outdoor activities for them

A truly Beautiful relaxing holiday - Perfection!

An absolutely wonderful experience. Having 2 small children we could not have asked for more. despite the cold british weather we still enjoyed the grounds. i couldn't believe the attention to detail. the little wendy house was well equipped for my little ones to keep them occupied all morning. then came the zip wire - they couldn't keep away. so many activities to make them happy. everything was in such good condition. The cottage was perfect - including a full equipped kitchen with cast iron pans! Beautifully furnished and personal touches including roses! convienently provided with essentials - a kind gesture appreciated by all members of our family. the hosts - lost for words.... a lovely couple who were most helpful. Andy and Katie made our holiday one to remember and we cant wait to return in the summer. in fact we dont want to leave! such good value. the Christmas lights were a bonus which andy and katie put up early for our little ones, and indeed did light up there eyes! made it more beautiful than it already was. magical! the amenities were so convenient. everything was provided and more. would definitely recommend this to everyone. a hearty thank you to Andy & Katie... see u soon

Heerlijk rustig verblijf

Fijn verblijf. Cottage is schoon, gezellig aangekleed en voorzien van hetgeen nodig is. Groot is het niet (2 vol.+ 2 kleine kinderen), maar wij hebben niets gemist. Wij hebben bovendien het grootste gedeelte van de tijd buiten doorgebracht. Voor kinderen is er heel veel ruimte en zijn er veel speeltoestellen en mogelijkheden. Er zijn diverse zithoekjes in de grote tuin met prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. De cottage ligt behoorlijk afgelegen. Uiteraard is er altijd een pub in de buurt, maar dat is dan ook het enige op loopafstand (20 min). Voordeel is dat je volledige rust hebt.

Auch im Herbst wunderschön

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Oktoberwoche in Stable Cottage verbracht. Das Haus ist liebevoll mit allem, was man so braucht, ausgestattet und auch an kühleren Herbsttagen schön warm. Wir haben die Aussicht auf den weitläufigen Garten genossen, die vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung und die Nähe zu London. Das Highlight für unsere Kinder (9 u. 12 Jahre) war das kleine Boot auf dem Teich, aber auch der Tennisplatz, das große Fußballtor und das Crocketspiel wurden genutzt. Ganz herzlichen Dank an Katie + Andy für einen sehr schönen Urlaub!

Excellent Family Fun

Stable cottage is a lovely little cottage, well maintained and well equipped. The facilities however are second to none. If you have small children and want to get away from it all then this is the place. Fantastic fun - trampolines, tree houses, zip wire, the most beautiful surroundings. We just loved it. Highly recommend.

A lovely familiy holiday at Hampton Farm (Kent)

We had a lovely time and stayed in the Little Apple Barn Cottage. Andy and Katie the owners were very welcoming and friendly. The cottage itself was well maintained, modern, clean and had all the utilities you need for a relaxing holiday. The views from outside the cottage were super. We brought our twins who are nearly 3 years old and they had a great time there playing on the toy cars, trampolines, swings and in the little play house. There was enough to keep them occupied for hours. In the cottage there was a this welcome pack that was really useful in deciding on other things to do outside Hamptons Farm. Overall a super holiday and we would certainly visit again.

Feeling Blessed!

We keep coming back to this place and we have not been disappointed! It is a beautiful place not just child friendly but a child’s paradise. Little Apple Barn Cottage is both tasteful and practical and there is so much to do for the children in the grounds. Feeling blessed!!

rural retreat very close to central London

Andy and Katie make you feel very welcome without intruding on you. Things like having some bread, butter, jam, and milk (not to mention the wine and the chocolates) mean a lot when you have just been driving for 12 hours south from Scotland :-) The cottage is lovely, compact, but everything you need is there! The huge gardens around the house and cottages is every kid's (and thus parent's) dream. Lots of pubs (2 on walking distance) for lunches or evening meals around and last but definitely not least: park your car at closeby Sevenoaks railway station and within 30 minutes you are in central London!

Successful holidays

We were back again in this lovely cottage with the same pleasure than last year ! Everything you need is present in the cottage. The ‘guest guide’ present in the cottage is very clear and helpful. The garden is really wide and it’s a real pleasure for children and also for parents. The property is directly connected to national footpaths. Hens, rabbits, sheep contributes to relaxing holidays in the middle of the nature. It is a lovely, peaceful retreat and a great base from which to go and visit the country.

It was a real home away from home with gorgeous vistas, undisturbed tranquility and plenty of things to do around (especially useful for families with children e.g. zip-wire, tennis court, large trampoline, tree house, bikes and scooters to be used with permission, and PLENTY more). I had an absolutely fantastic time in Stable Cottage, the owners were always happy to assist. The cottage itself was very well equipped and there were no issues at all.There was Wi-Fi, with great speed considering the rural surroundings, TV, and a bounty of lovely treats to welcome the guests on arrival. I can't recommend it strongly enough! Utter bliss!

Magical stay in rural Kent

We had a wonderful two week stay in Stable Cottage. We were back from the middle east for a visit. Stable Cottage proved to be a great base for us. Andrew and Katie were very welcoming both to us and to our visitors. The cottage itself is clean, well maintained and well fitted out. We were lucky with the weather and were able to sit outside and enjoy the lovely grounds. We also made good use of the tennis court. We have already recommended it to our friends and family.

Für Familien mit Kindern ein toller Platz für Spie

Stable Cottage - Hamptons Farmhouse bietet für Familien mit kleinen Kindern optimale Bedingungen, um einen tollen Familienurlaub zu erleben. Das "Stable Cottage" ist ein sehr schönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Appartment mit reichlich Platz für die ganze Familie. Das Gelände, auf dem sich dieses und weitere Cottages befinden, bietet für Kinder und Erwachsene reichlich Möglichkeiten, sich auszutoben. So sind neben einer Seilbahn, einem Trampolin, einem riesigen Baumhaus auch ein Tennisplatz, Klettermöglicheiten und viele weitere Möglichkeiten vorhanden, sich vor Ort zu beschäftigen. Wir haben Stable Cottage auch als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach London (mit der Bahn zügig zu erreichen), Oxford und an den Strand genutzt. Hierzu sind allerdings etwas längere Autofahrten nötig. Alles in Allem ein toller Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten und sehr freundlichen Vermietern.

Excellent!

For the second time we booked our holiday at Hamptons farmhouse. And again it was great! The cosy cottages, the hospitality of the owners and their children, the wonderful gardens around the cottages, it is an oasis! Our children loved playing around or visit one of the many parcs and castles. We will return again!
