Thank you for your kind words. Toogoom is peaceful from the second you drive in. If people are adventurous there is quite a few National Parks with trekking and purpose built mountain bike complex at Toogoom. Not for me but some of my guests have booked specifically for this mountain bike centre. You are welcome back anytime.

Yes unfortunately this Sunday check in was missed by our property manager. On making contact the property manager did offer to come within the hour however you had chosen to stay elsewhere which is totally understandable. We did a same day refund pending the VBRO fees which they have to refund. We do not have communication problems normally and have the same phone number we always had so not sure about the phone issues. Again we apologise profusely that this happened.

Thanks Russell. Toogoom is a smaller village and the restaurants operating hours are very seasonal and weekend based. If you are up that way again there quite a few attractions within 30 minute drive including a bird sanctuary and obviously Hervey Bay attractions. We also often go to Howard and Burrum Heads which both have great pubs/bistros.
