Siamo così entusiasti di condividere con te le nostre cose preferite di questa parte incredibilmente bella del Western NC con te. Amiamo guardare l'alba dal ponte, fare escursioni nei vicini sentieri Bartram e degli Appalachi, saltare le scogliere nella nostra buca segreta, fare rafting sul fiume Nantahala, pescare a mosca nelle insenature e nei fiumi locali, fare sci d'acqua sul lago, guidare la panoramica Cherahola Skyway e Deal's Gap (Coda del drago) e guardando un baldacchino stellato mentre arrostisce marshmallow attorno alla buca per il fuoco.

Costruito nel 2018, questa piccola e accogliente cabina offre tutti i comfort necessari per una vacanza. Dopo aver fatto un'escursione sul sentiero degli Appalachi, facendo immersioni sulla scogliera nella nostra buca segreta, rafting o pesca con la mosca sul fiume Nantahala, riposerai nel più comodo materasso memory foam in montagna. Il loft accoglie due spiriti avventurosi per riposare le loro piccole teste. Oltre a una cabina moderna completamente fornita, avrai accesso a diversi acri di prato piatto ben curato, circondato da montagne e un torrente di montagna rilassante per immergerti nelle dita dei piedi. Nel 2017 quest'area ha goduto di una vista unica nella vita dell'eclissi solare nel "Sentiero della totalità". Abbiamo costruito un bellissimo focolare in pietra per cucinare s'mores mentre guardi l'incredibile cielo notturno, pieno di stelle!

Ti invitiamo a fare escursioni ed esplorare la zona. Ti forniremo una guida dei migliori ristoranti locali, percorsi locali e opportunità fotografiche degne di Instagram - per includere la Lakes End Marina - il nostro posto preferito per noleggiare barche / moto d'acqua / canoe ecc.

Se hai 4x4 e preferisci una vista sulle montagne piuttosto che questo tranquillo elenco sul lato del torrente, o hai amici che vogliono unirsi a te nelle tue avventure, ma non necessariamente condividere lo spazio con loro, cerca la nostra altra cabina in cima alla montagna - SMAWLIE - disponibile anche su VRBO.

Abbiamo un bellissimo nuovo parcheggio proprio accanto alla cabina per facilitare le operazioni di carico e scarico di generi alimentari e bagagli.

A pleasant surprise!

I had booked a cabin for The week after Christmas and for Newyears in Gatlinburg TN. The property owner messaged me 2 days before we were to leave that there was a problem and it had to be canceled. I was then scrambling to find a cabin in the mountains for my girlfriend and her 7 year old son and me.. I came across this as there was very little available. We got there and it was beautiful as we pulled up. Just as we wanted in the mountains. I was unloading the car and she comes out screaming there's no wifi.!! Lol. It was priceless the look on thier face. I must have over looked that part! We had no phone service, no tablets to get on, fb,social media, or cable/ Satelite.. We spent 4 nights totally off the grid as we called it. We had the best time! It was a blessing. My son never asked for his tablet, I couldn't check my work emails, or have any customers calling me. It was awesome! We built fires , made stores, looked at the beautiful stars, hiked and spent real time with each other. No worries, no deadlines to worry about. I suggest everyone do this with their family. My 7 year old said he liked it better than going to the beach. It was a pleasant surprise and we will definitely be back. Thank you for that experience !

Perfect Peace!

This was our 2nd time staying at Frank's Landing and we were just as pleased as the first! It is the perfect place to disconnect from all the distractions and get away for some peace and quiet. I especially appreciate all the communication from the owner. He is very helpful and personable. Lake's End Restaurant is a short drive away and is the best!! My husband loves the catfish, and the ribs are awesome as well! We will be back!

Peaceful Bliss

My husband and I needed a weekend to unplug and have some much needed time together. I booked this cabin for a surprise fishing trip/getaway. The experience at Frank's Landing was awesome. The cabin is so peaceful. It is everything that is described in the listing and more. You can "read" the description of the property, but you have to experience it to "feel" it. We loved putting our hammock up by the creek and napping there. We both have busy jobs that require a good deal of communication on the phone. The lack of wifi and phone signal was just what we needed to reconnect and get back to the simple life before electronics took over! The property provided a good place to park our pontoon. We were just a short drive to the lake so we enjoyed being on the water daily. The Lakes End Restaurant is awesome as well. The all you can eat catfish on Friday night is a must if you like seafood. In addition to all this. We got some much needed rest. Needless to say, we will be back!! Thank you to the Henrie family for sharing their little piece of serenity with us. It was a blessing.

Wonderful mountain experience!!

Like many people, we were nervous about no cell phone or Wi-Fi but trust me when I say it doesn’t matter! This property is so beautiful. The cabin is better than expected, it was so clean and well thought out. The linens, bedding, mattress and pillows were such high quality and so comfortable (hotel quality!). There were plenty of extra towels and linens which was so nice. We went to the grocery store in town before heading up to the cabin and once arrived found many before us graciously left some spices, sugar, coffee filters etc. The owners had a great binder of activity suggestions, directions etc. There were a ton of dvds to choose from, some books, magainzes and games. We did not get bored! The trails on the property are very nice. One is steep and challenging but was fun to explore! Franks Landing was the perfect unplug retreat for us! -Mary & Brian

Really nice! Perfect size for small family and plenty to do in the surrounding area. We enjoyed hiking and spent a couple hours on the lake. Host was very good about providing local places to check out and we very much appreciated that!

Remote in the best way

As described, a clean cute little cabin back in the mountains. Lack of cell phone signal and internet was a great way to disconnect for a while. Lots of privacy and well mowed yard. The cabin we stayed at was easily accessible in our Mustang as well.

Technology free time

This place is great. We had a blast sitting around the camp fire and going to the swimming hole. Especially the secret one we had to find on our own!! My son’s favorite part of the cabin was the salt gun. He was walking around the whole time taking aim at the bugs. I found great solitude wading around the creek by the cabin making waterfalls with the rocks for a babling brook sound. Overall it was very relaxing. Looking forward to renting again and having family join and rent the additional cabins on the property!!

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

We stayed at Frank’s Landing for the Miatas at the Gap event. Loved the peace and quiet of this tranquil setting. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed the new hot tub and fire pit under the stars. No wifi or cell so we took advantage to disconnect completely. The owners Mike and Mary are creating an amazing retreat with several properties on the land. They’ve created something very special!!

Mountain Cabin

The mountain setting for this cabin is wonderful. Getting there was no problem. No steep climbs, etc. Very peaceful because you have no internet or phone service; however we just drove to Andrews or any other destination and had service. A hot tub arrived just before our stay, so we were the first to enjoy it.

Clean and cute

Needed lodging for a wedding. Good location halfway between Andrews and venue Important note. Place well suited for a couple traveling. As we were two college friends, the low ceiling in the loft was a bit challenging for an adult! Made for some good laughter

Peaceful!!

Peaceful and pleasant stay away from tv and WiFi. That part was hard but ended up being a blessing. Took walks, sat out by the fire pit, had lunch at Lakes End Marina. We did go to Murphy and eat at the Bistro. Fantastic food! Makes you really appreciate what you have. We looked forward each night to a dvd movie. Thanks for sharing your quaint and beautiful cabin.
