“A place to be when you have kids and do not fancy to splash into the cold waters of the Riviera: the swimming pools at TLH are cool! And the one indoor is warm too. Conveniently located near the seafront, and lical gardens and Torre Abbey. Easy distance to churches, shops and restaurants. Food is ok but reasonably priced. Kids go free and we say Thank You. I appreciate the rooms NOT being serviced every day because guests must be responsible of keeping their space tidy anyway. The only 🚫🚫...

“The first room we were given was not up to 3 star standard. We contacted reception the next morning and they were very considerate and we were offered an alternative room that was more acceptable. The location, food and the staff were excellent. We hope to return.”

“We arrived late after a mechanical issue with our car. We called ahead to advise Ed that we would be late. He fully understood and when we did arrive was greeted with a smile. Breakfast was very good, room very comfortable. ”

“The hotel is very new so all the open facilities were in perfect state. Staff are all new and motivated, if not fully trained. All were very keen to serve thier customers. The hotel affords great views over Torbay from the main restaurants, bars and space by lifts. We did not have a seaview room so looked over the railway and neighbours gardens. Our room was well furnished and decorated including a small fridge and coffee machine. It would be nice to have a second chair given it is a double...

“We stayed in this delightful cottage for three night. The whole house was kitted out with everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen though we are out mostly. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of space to store our clothes with plenty of hangers. The shower was easy to use and there was plenty of hot water. Close to all amenities and transport links - buses, trains and tour boats.”
