“Amazing time on our honeymoon we had the best view and room ever! The only thing we had a hard time with was the light by our table was out, we asked the front desk about it 3 times but nothing was ever done. However everything else was superb, a very convenient location as well, really close to canal park. Also a beautiful building/area. The landscaping and property was phenomenal, definitely felt like a resort. Will definitely be coming back in the future.”
“It was all wonderful. The view of the lake from our room was amazing. The lakewalk and access to beach via the lakewalk.. wow! The 5 minute walk to the canal to watch ships come in was great. The breakfast room was large and inviting. Food was good, but more fresh fruit would have made it better. The front deck with the beautiful purple petunia baskets gave me a lot of joy. Nice sized pool and inviting lobby. Would definitely stay here again. ”
“The Oliver Inn is such a cool little place. It’s a destination of its own. The whole building is decorated in such a style, you forget you’re not on a history tour. The location is great; parking is tricky, but not unbearable.
If we ever wander back to Duluth, this is where we will be staying! ”
“Comfortable place if you’re looking for something affordable without fuss. There’s no 24-7 front desk but management is very responsive via phone. Relatively clean. People just need to follow the rules and keep common area clean. Most people bring their dirty habits with when they travel, but for the most part, the facility does well with keeping the property clean and safe. I have been here a few times and plan for more stays.”
“I liked the hostel setup. Private room, individual bathroom/showers. Not at all like a college dorm, for instance. But more interesting than a chain motel. Good restaurants as well as fast food and gas stations within a block’s walking. Sweet cozy cocktail bar downstairs. ”
“I like staying at The Suites in Duluth, MN. The hotel is by many restaurants and shopping. We like going to the Lift Bridge to watch the ships come in. Check in was fast.The hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff is wonderful and they have a nice breakfast. Eggs, meat, cereals, bagels, waffles,fruit, juice, and milk. The Suites has a nice pool and hot tub. We definitely will stay there again.”
