Tors Cove Pond Retreat

Venite a scoprire l'Irish Loop in una fuga molto privato a 45 minuti di distanza dal trambusto di San Giovanni.
Questa bella cabina si trova sul lungomare di proprietà, con accesso privato alla Tors Cove Pond. Potrebbe essere l'ideale per un rifugio dell'artista, una vacanza in famiglia ritorno alla natura o per una fuga romantica. Il nostro noleggio ha tutti i comfort di una casa - legno e pavimenti in ceramica in tutto, riscaldamento elettrico, stufa a legna nel soggiorno / sala da pranzo, cucina completamente attrezzata (con regolare e forno a convezione, forno a microonde), grande terrazza con barbecue, impianto audio, di grandi dimensioni TV a schermo piatto e Wi-Fi, camino propano in soppalco. Ci sono 3 camere da letto al piano nobile (1 matrimoniale e 2 letti singoli) più mansarda con letto matrimoniale.

Tors Cove Pond offre la possibilità di pescare dal molo e nuotare in acque cristalline, senza traffico in barca pesante.

C'è così tanto da vedere in questa bellissima zona. A portata di mano è la East Coast Trail, di uccelli e balene e barca iceberg tour, gallerie d'arte / studi di artisti, e molto, molto di più.
A breve distanza (circa 25 minuti a sud) si può arrivare alla Colonia di Sito Archeologico Avalon e il famoso faro Ferryland Picnic - un viaggio che non dovrebbe perdere!

We are a group of 3 couples who stayed at the “cottage” for a week in July. We left each day to hike and tour. It was perfect for us. Wonderful gathering areas inside and out with fully equipped kitchen with everything you could ask for. Margaret was very quick to respond to any questions. Lovely stay.

Very warm and welcoming house on a lake in Tors Cove. Comfortable beds and attractive decor. Good base for hiking, but a car is advisable to get to trails. Wonderful deck for morning coffee amd chilling out. Host very responsive. If you need groceries, pick them up in Bay Bulls before getting to the house, as the closest convenience stores are limited.

Margaret told us to enjoy the cottage as we would our own, and that generous and welcoming approach made us feel comfortable from the beginning. It was lovely having such a well-equipped kitchen and so much space. The loft room was amazing for lounging, reading, and watching television as a family. It was kind and unexpected to find empty drawers and closet space. It's such a beautiful place, obviously lovingly and thoughtfully furnished and decorated. Margaret left bread, milk and butter for us and was always available when I had questions. Communication was excellent. I think the most important thing to tell others is that we truly felt welcome and at home. Very highly recommended, and hope that we weren't too much trouble! Thank you so much, Margaret, for letting us stay at your beautiful cottage.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tors Cove Cabin. The cabin felt just like home, with a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and lots of personality both inside and out. The location was perfect for exploring the true beauty of Newfoundland and all that it has to offer. The check in process was seamless and the owners were so helpful and friendly to deal with. My 3 year old son accidentally left his favourite stuffie behind, Margaret contacted me straight away when she found it and shipped it back to us in Alberta to make for a very happy little boy. We could not have found a more idyllic or peaceful place to enjoy our holiday. We will definitely stay again if we return to Newfoundland in the future

This lovely cabin is situated just a short distance from St. John's but right on the Irish Loop Highway. You couldn't be in a better location for driving the loop (a must), yet in a tranquil and secluded lakeside setting. The cabin has all the amenities you could desire and was comfortable and cozy for our group of 5 adults. We had a nice fire every evening and our coffee on the deck over-looking the lake every morning before setting off to explore. The cabin is very close to some of the nicest bays and best whale and puffin watching excursions. The hosts - Margaret and Ralph - were gracious and extremely helpful as this was our first ever trip to Newfoundland. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and give us a true Newfoundland welcome. We will come back again to stay.

We were very impressed with this cottage. It was our first time to Newfoundland and didn't know quite what to expect. Our hosts Margaret and Ralph were very welcoming and provided everything we needed to get our holiday started. Communication was great also. they went above expectations to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you for sharing you Cottage for us to relax and enjoy our vacation.

My family of 4 stayed at this lovely cabin for a week in July and had such a wonderful stay. Tors Cove is a gorgeous area and the cabin on the lake was a nice cozy retreat to come home to after a day of exploring the wonders of the east coast! The owners Margaret and Ralph were extremely helpful in providing information about the surrounding area and were very welcoming. We would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful cabin!!
