Ved ankomst var receptionist venlig og hjælpsom. Rummene er gode og rene, men mangler et klædeskab. Morgenmaden kunne være bedre, brødet var ikke nybaget, udvalg af pålæg var ikke stort. Ingen nævneværdig støj.

Hej Claus,Tak for din anmeldelse. Jeg er ked af at høre, at jeres ophold ikke har levet op til standard. Ingen af vores gæster skal vente på at få extra hovedpuder i 2 dage. Hvad end, der er gået galt der fra vores side er simpelthen ikke godt nok, og vi tager dette op med vores personale. Vedr. vandet, var der desværre sket en fejl fra vores leverandør i forbindelse med noget omlægning som gjorde, at der ikke var varmt vand i weekenden. Dette er taget hånd om og kommer ikke til at være et problem fremadrettet.Hvis der er andet, vi kan bedre, er I velkomne at kontakte os.I ønskes en god dag.

Centralt hotel i Thorshavn
Hotellet ligger tæt på centrum og med fin morgen buffet. Dog ligger hoteller tæt på en af hovedveje ind mod Thorshavn, så forvent noget trafiklarm,da vinduet på værelset ikke kunne lukke helt. Rengøringsstandarden kunne godt være højere

Very nice place; staff was great and the room was a good size. Their “laundry service” is really just a standard washing / drying machine in a back room that you have to do yourself. It was not convenient to use. I was hoping it would be more of a drop off / pick up situation. Just a note for future travelers.

Super fint hotel
Man kunne godt se at hotellet var nyrenoveret. Ligger dejligt centralt og flinkt personale. Flot udsigt derudover og fin morgenmad. Eneste minus var at der var ret lydt på vores værelse, men det er der nu på mange hoteller synes jeg. Det holder mig hvert fald på ingen måde fra at komme tilbage, når jeg kommer til Færøerne igen!

Excellent hotel, great service & always warm.
This is a lovely hotel which is spotlessly clean with very helpful staff in every way. The location is excellent- only a short walk into town with free parking at the front. The view is amazing - ask for a front room, we didn’t but luckily got one. The hotel is warm despite the weather outside (although it was pleasant when we were there in August. The only down sides are that the soundproofing between rooms is dreadful and the bed was extremely soft. We heard next door talking all the time and pings / alarms on phones which didn’t seem to get turned off! We prefer a harder bed so struggled with the softer mattress. However, overall we had a great stay (coffee / tea machine in rooms aswell as free tea / coffee from the breakfast room all day aswell as being able to eat a take away in the hotel at any time we wanted in that room). The cleaning staff were amazing; reception staff always polite and helpful; breakfast staff were very efficient - nothing was too much trouble for any staff. Thank you for a lovely stay and we recommend Hotel Djurhuus to anyone.

Dejlig beliggenhed.
Hotellet har en perfekt lokation og smuk udsigt. Morgenmaden har det basale, lækkert brød, de er gode til at fylde op hele tiden. Hotellet er pænt og rent, dog oplevede både min veninde og jeg ikke at få gjort rent på vores værelser, 1 og 2 dage. De virker nye i receptionen og det virker som om de ikke går videre med det man fortæller dem. Fx lugtede der på et tidspunkt meget a kloak, ej heller så gode til at svare på spørgsmål. Der er et sted på 3. Etage hvor man kan sidde og nyde hav udsigt og selv medbringe mad og drikke.
Udsigt fra fællesrummet, hvor egen mad og drikke kan medbringes
Elsker når der er Rituals produkter på badeværelset.

Poor
This hotel is bad. Breakfast was good and people were nice, but our room was horrible. Old and dirty, and you can hear everything from the hall. Hotel offer the gym that is unavailable. I would not stay there again. Torshavn is a very small town and all the hotels are in a walking distance to the downtown.

Værelset var meget lille , gammelt og slidt. Døren var en almindelig inde dør , så man kunne høre alt ude fra gangen . Burde ikki koste mere end halvdelen :(

Lounge område i tredje etg, - flott å sitte der med utsikt til hav og over sundet. Vennlig og imøtekommende personale og god frokost. Ett pluss: Kan få kjøpe lunsjpakke. Beliggenhet nært byen og Skansen.
