Lo Shearling è una moderna conversione fienile presso la Shearstone Farm di Blackawton, nel sud del Devon. Si trova vicino al Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, tra Dartmouth, Kingsbridge e Totnes. È stato rinnovato secondo uno standard elevato. L'accesso a The Shearing avviene tramite una strada poderale a corsia singola.

Questa proprietà ha riscaldamento a pavimento in tutto.

C'è un ampio e arioso spazio di vita open space. Una grande finestra esposta a sud inonda la stanza di luce naturale. Offre anche un rilassante divano e poltrona a due posti, un tavolino e una TV a schermo piatto completa di pacchetto Sky.

C'è una cucina completamente attrezzata con piano cottura in vetroceramica Neff e forno integrato, nonché un frigorifero integrato con vano congelatore. C'è anche una lavatrice indipendente e forno a microonde. C'è anche un tavolo da pranzo in legno con due eleganti sedie da pranzo.

Appena fuori dalla zona giorno, troverai un grande armadio che ospita una stendibiancheria, un aspirapolvere, un asse da stiro e un ferro da stiro.

La rilassante camera da letto è inondata di molta luce naturale dalla grande finestra che si affaccia sul patio e sulla campagna circostante. Dispone di un comodo letto super king-size con cerniera che può essere composto insieme o separatamente come letti singoli (da specificare al momento della prenotazione). Ci sono anche due comodini con lampade, un doppio armadio in legno autoportante e una sedia.

Il moderno e moderno bagno con doccia è completamente attrezzato con una grande cabina doccia, WC, lavabo, portasciugamani e un armadio a specchio per il bagno.

L'ampio patio pavimentato è racchiuso da un'elegante balaustra in vetro con un tavolo e due sedie che offrono una vista su campi che è l'ideale per chi viaggia con i cani.

Vi è un ampio parcheggio accanto alla proprietà e un deposito scoperto per biciclette, canoe ecc può essere facilmente organizzato.

It was a beautiful cottage, just what we hoped for. The dogs were also made welcome and we were very grateful for the fan as the weather was baking. The scones, jam and clotted cream, eggs and milk were also very welcome and the owners were delightful, even though one of our dogs was grumpy and barked whenever they were about!!! Couldn't recommend this xottage enough.

What an amazing stay and such a relaxing location and Ron & Margaret were a breath of fresh air on our UK trip and we loved the Devon sense of humour!Thank you for the lovely cream tea and fresh eggs and the excellent clean accommodation.Lovely to have the Golden Retrievers around too and the Ram ...who has now gone elsewhere and will soon be in with eight sheep, doing what a Ram does best!!We hope to stay again on a future trip!

Excellent property & Hosts.

Property was perfect for us in every way, Clean, comfortable, quiet with everything needed. All appliances, beds, linen etc are all good quality which makes for a comfortable stay. The hosts (Margaret & Ron) are very welcoming, and left lots of nice things in the property to start us off, including a Devon cream tea, which was very welcome after a long days travel. Would definately stay again if going to Devon.

Super stay!

Had a wonderful stay at The Shearling. Everything was perfect. The cottage was a lovely size and very comfortable with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The hosts were wonderful, very friendly and not at all intrusive. The location is great for visiting the surrounding area if you do wish to venture out but also if you just want to relax at the cottage in the peace and quiet of the Devon countryside. All in all, we couldnt have asked for a more pleasant and relaxing stay. We've already recommended the cottage to a few of our friends.

Perfect

Fabulous barn conversion with so much room and everything you need, the shower especially was perfect, and the bed soooo comfortable.To have the use of a large field and orchard at any time for the dogs was priceless.The hosts could not have been more friendly, relaxed and hospitable - a lovely cream tea on arrival was delicious!!

Our 2nd visit to this superb little gem, excellent location and the owners are lovely people, so quiet and peaceful at night, The bed was so comfy I could of quite easily took it home lol,We stopped just after the Christmas for NYE to avoid the fireworks as our pets hate them, will be returning in the near future

Perfect stay in every way.

This was probably the most ideal self catering property my daughter and I have stayed in since we started annual visits to Dartmouth in 1998. We loved the location, peaceful yet just a short drive to the town. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and provided everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the free range eggs, milk and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were an unexpected treat. A delightful stay in every way.

Excellent Place to Stay

Well equipped one bedroom barn conversion in a secluded location. This was a real find and the ideal place for us to stay with our two dogs. This is a great base for exploring the local area. The hosts, Margaret, Ron and Sue were very friendly and the welcome goodies were much appreciated. This is probably the best self catering accommodation that we have stayed in. We would certainly return here if we are in the area. Thank you all

Wonderful stay - hosts / property & location

Well what can I say, from the well equipped and very clean property, to the lovely hosts and the tasty cream teas on our arrival, the stay was just perfect. Lovely and quiet and so near to Dartmouth, Kingsbridge etc, by car. Our dog Ash was made very welcome and he enjoyed his early morning/evening walks up the quiet lane and the fields. We will definitely be back next year and thank you again Margaret, Ron and Sue for the really lovely stay.

Perfektes Ferienhaus für 2 in sehr ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben ein sauberes und gut eingerichtetes Ferienhaus vorgefunden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist sehr einsam, so dass wir für Unternehmungen immer das Auto benutzen. Das war uns aber vorher bekannt, daher kein Problem. Zum Einkaufen war es nicht weit und das nächste Pub war genau eine Meile entfernt. Wir haben viele schöne Ausflüge gemacht und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das war unser erster Urlaub in Süd-England und wir werden sicher noch einmal zurückkommen.

Whats not to like

For us it was perfect. Tucked away and a field to give the dogs a run. Accommodation is very good. Massive bed and quality fittings all around. 10 mins from Dartmouth and not far from everything basically. Thanks

Quiet location not far from the sea

We found the Shearling Cottage to be perfectly presented and suitable for us, a mature aged couple. It was well appointed, extremely clean and it was a pleasure to have such good quality linen on the king size bed. The cottage is on a very quiet farm but is only 4 miles from Dartmouth so the attractions and facilities of Dartmouth are not far away.
