“We had a very short stay en route back from the south. This is a beautiful little hotel close to Calais. So much nicer than other motels I have used for stop overs and excellent value. “Prima verblijf voor een stop-over. Het is wel een 2-sterren hotel en dat is te merken. Zo was de kamer netjes en schoon, bed prima, maar toilet heeft eigenaardige en luidruchtige gebruiksaanwijzing. Bei schönem Wetter profitiert man von dem riesigen Strand, für den man nur die direkt hinter der Anlage gelegenen Dünen überqueren muss. Ein Bus fährt kostenlos nach Calais. “Great little hotel perfectly positioned in the centre of Gravelines, within walking distance of bars/eateries. Parking is free in the Square opposite the hotel (only at the week end though). The hotel is staffed 24/7, and there are both a bar/lounge and a restaurant on site. “Everything was perfect! David was a very welcoming host, even though we arrived after 9pm. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and spacious and very clean with bottled water and amenities. David laid on the nicest breakfast of warm croissants, warm bread, cheeses, jams, yoghurt and honey, and also supplied is plenty of milk and cocoa for hot chocolate. The cats and dogs at the property are adorable and all in all, it was a very relaxed overnight stay. Merci, David et Cecile.”
