“It was amazing. Surrounded by hills and the Mourne mountains and a view of the ocean in the distance. Woke up to cows in the front pasture and sheep in the back pasture each morning. So peaceful there. Cottage has everything one would need for a very pleasant stay.”

“Overall a good experience but we had to change room in the middle of the nigth. Nothing to complain about the first but around midnight we discovered that the hotel also has a music bar and the room was just above it. We complained and were moved to another room. So happy end despite of the inconvenience. Since music is made every week end, it would be nice not to give out those rooms when others are available. Everything else was good: cleanliness, breakfast, parking.”

“Great wee place. Nice and quiet and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was very kind in leaving local food and a bit of milk to get you going ( great idea for a cup of tea). Also has a chap of the door where I kind man gave me half a dozen fresh eggs. They were lovely and the eggs looked like what I used to see as a kid- white, brown and light blue. ( I think that he was the hosts father). Loved the Amazing fire stick which was useful for Prime, Netflix etc. Bed was really...

“Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”
