Relax and recharge in this stunning cabin with an awesome oversized deck to enjoy. Wheelchair accessible. Bright, open floor-plan, and stone gas fireplace create an inviting and cozy space for gathering with family and friends. *Brand new* appliances in gourmet kitchen with all the essentials, including both Keurig and drip coffee-maker. Large dining table with seating for six. Master suite on main floor with king-size bed, TV, and bathroom with dual-head shower (handicap accessible). Second suite upstairs with queen-size bed, TV, and bathroom with shower and bathtub. Comfortable mattresses with new, high quality sheets. Luxury towels and toiletries provided. Loft with daybed and trundle to accommodate extra guests and/or to serve as a great reading nook or a special place to escape for a nap. Lower level with billiards table and cornhole boards for some family fun. French doors open onto two covered porches for wildlife-viewing and watching the sun set. Gas grill, main-floor laundry and WIFI. Easy, pull-through parking to accommodate two vehicles (trailers would be a challenge). Enjoy the security and amenities of Laurel Valley, including golf at Wild Laurel. Close to Townsend shops and restaurants, including the award-winning Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro. The Kallithea

We were not able to use the fireplace. We also did not try to contact the owner about this because it was not that important to us. Perhaps there were instructions that we just didn’t look hard enough to find. For the two of us, the property was more than adequate and well provisioned. The property description on the Vrbo website is quite accurate. As a family accommodation for 4-5 individuals it is also quite suitable.

PERFECTTTTTTTTTTTTT beyond words. The perfect way to stay in Tennessee. Cabin is as beautiful as pictured. Very home away from home feel. Not too far of a drive to the strip. Lots and lots of space!! Made for the perfect stay and time! Will certainly be back!

We stayed for five nights. We come to Tennessee every year and rent a cabin. This was our first stay at this cabin, BY FAR THE BEST!!! We absolutely loved it! It was the cleanest one we've ever had. The host was friendly and responsive. She even let us check in an hour early. and its just beautiful!

Our family of 3 arrived late so had to use the gated keypad entry. I failed to notice the entry code on the instructions but maged to get in. The house was very nice and we especially like the deck on the back of the house. We had a couple of minor issues that the propery manager addrrssed promptly.. The area was beautiful and would definitely come back and recommend.

Beautiful cabin, very clean, full of amenities in kitchen plus washer & dryer. We were there for a quick 2 night stay for a wedding but wish we could have enjoyed longer. It accommodated 2 grandparents, 2 adults, 2 grandchildren very well with two bedroom/baths on different floors plus bonus sleeping loft. Bonus basement game room. Be aware of very steep road approaching cabin and not level driveway for 2 vehicles that was a little difficult for the elderly grandparents but doable with a handicap ramp. Five minutes to Townsend activities & food.

Blackberry Smoke Concert At The Shed (Maryville)

This was our third year to stay in Townsend to attend the Blakckberry Smoke Concert. By far the Kallithea, has been the best place compared to the other 2 places we have stayed at in previous years. The place was immaculate! If I could give 10 stars I would!! Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable, downstairs shower was super nice! We enjoyed sitting out on both decks, playing pool, and playing cards! I would recommend the Kallithia....you will not be disappointed! Only downfall is the driveway....not much room to park. Fortunately we were in a midsize car so it was all good! I could see if someone has a huge pick up truck it may get a little tricky. Other than that, it is an amazing place to stay. We plan to stay at the Kallithia again next May.

A wonderful place to stay

15 minutes and you're in the Park. Lots of restaurants and an IGA grocery store near by. Tuckaleechee Caverns is just down the road and highly recommended. The cabin is lovely and well maintained. Host is very responsive, and we would enjoy staying here again.

Our stay at the cabin

We only had one major concern, and that was the door locking system. It had a keycode pad on the outside, which was fine, but on the inside the only lock was attached to the keypad. There should have been a separate deadbolt lock/locking mechanism that was on the inside of the door. But there was not.

Peaceful and as advertised

We stayed here for our recent trip to the smoky Mountians. It’s a short drive to the park, and anything you’d need really. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement, and relaxing on the deck. The road up to the cabin is no joke, and turning around to park could be a pain at times, but wasn’t an issue. I wouldn’t recommend pulling any sort of trailer up the hill. We would stay again for sure if we are ever in the area!

Well equipped and great floor plan

We stayed here for two nights in January to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday. Very well equipped cabin with quality cookware and even extras like aluminum foil and spices. Very nice for a group who cooked breakfast and dinner in cabin. Linens and towels were nice quality and the beds were comfortable. Fireplace made it cozy. Easy check out instructions.

Annual girls trip

My sister mother and aunt come every year for a peaceful getaway. The cabin this year was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. Watching the bears roam around the neighborhood was amazing. Looking forward to next year
