Little River Cabin - Riverfront, 1 mile from GSMNP - Romantic Getaway!

Smoky Mountain Views is proud to present "The Little River Cabin!" This special place is ideal for a romantic getaway or for anyone wanting to enjoy the Great Smoky National Park, hiking, swimming, fishing, tubing, or biking.

Nestled amongst a small group of sweet little cabins, there is a quaint, peaceful feeling when you arrive here. Enjoy the views and sound of the river from the cabin itself or take a short walk to our little community's river entrance to go fishing or to swim. Enjoy the hot tub, firepit, arcade, gas fireplace, Cable TV, Wi-Fi, comfy king bed, and the park-style charcoal grill.

This cabin's location is a gem... it is only ½ a mile to the National Park Entrance! It is 9 miles to Cades Cove, 18 miles to Pigeon Forge, 20 miles to Dollywood, 22 miles to Gatlinburg or Sevierville, & 27 miles to Knoxville's Airport.

*Please note: This is an old-fashioned, one room-style cabin without a actual separate bedroom; there is a KOA campground on the other side of the river; and there is no dishwasher, washer or dryer in this little cabin.

Guest booking must be 25 years or older. NO PETS. No parties or events. No Smoking or Drug use on property. No fireworks. Parking area and entrance are under video surveillance. Signed rental agreement REQUIRED to gain access to property. Check-In time is between 4pm and 10pm FIRM.

Location was quiet and private. Hot Tub was clean, hot and ready to go. Kitchen was well stocked, bed comfy and the sun room was gorgeous. A couple of things would have improved the stay - a shovel or something to help manage the outside fire pit, a stacked washer/dryer and a couple of larger towels for the jacuzzi. The views of The Little River, the stars at night and the spring blooms were stunning.

The property was just as listed, and the property manager was extremely responsive and helpful. We found the setting to be lovely and perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. The cabin was charming, and we especially loved the sun room overlooking the river. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The proximity to Cade's Cove, waterfalls and hiking trails was wonderful. We would love to visit again.

The house was amazing and friendly. Very responsive you didn't have to wait long to get a response from them. Once arriving to the cabin it was dark porch lights came on through the motion lights. Open the cabin door it smelt great with very clean. We slept great. Woke up the next morning with a beautiful view of the river having a cup of coffee watching the squirrels play in the trees. This place is amazing It's cozy it's comfortable it's quiet.

Pros:*cabin was beautiful*cabin was very clean*bed was comfortable with a firm mattress*fireplace was wonderful*sunroom was very peaceful*host communication was great*had the kitchen amenities we needed*locationCons:*should NOT be considered a "fishing cabin". My husband has been wanting to get a fishing cabin for years that we could walk out the back and toss in our lines right on the property, so we splurged for our 25th anniversary to get this one because it was listed as a "fishing cabin". There is a steep drop out the back of the cabin, we had to walk down behind a couple other houses to get to the river, and there were only 3 jagged rocks we could fish from; too deep in places to get in the water to fish.*view from the sunroom overlooks the KOA campground*shower too small for even one person My husband wanted to give this a 2 or 3 star because the sole reason for choosing this beautiful cabin was the "fishing cabin". He got over the view and we made it a lovely time despite not being able to fish. NOTE: make sure you bring body wash if you don't use bar soap.If we had not had the expectation of fishing and a better view, we would have rated this 5 stars. If you are not going for those reasons, you will LOVE this cabin.

The cabin was very clean and decorated very cute. But we were surprised how many people were around us. The sunroom was a nice roombut overlooked several campsite. The hot tub we didnt even use too many mesquites. We were thinking this cabin would be more seclded. The worst thing is the shower. So small needs updated. We left a day before we were scheduled to leave. Not secluded and shower is a negative.

25th Anniversary Celebration! Perfect little location along the river. My absolute favorite is the sun room! So relaxing and beautiful. Other cabins are pretty close on either side. My only suggestion is a privacy fence on the side of the jacuzzi. The cabin was very clean and cozy.

Adorable cabin w/great river view

Booking and check in/out was very easy. This cabin is very cute! Front porch has a swing and nostalgic wooden screened door. The interior rustic wood furniture all matches and is very sturdy. Loved the white matching dishware. Would be nice to have some plastic dishware as well in case you want to bring anything outside. Lighting fixtures are modern and cute, as well as the other decor. Best part is the fully enclosed porch with floor to ceiling windows that provide an awesome view of the river whether sitting or standing. Might be nice to have blinds on the side windows like the back windows have just for more privacy. Bed linens were clean, but didn’t have a fresh scent of being recently laundered. Hot tub was clean and up to temp, but somewhat dated and headrests need replaced because small pieces coming off in the water. Would be nice to have the lid on a hinge so you don’t have to remove completely but not a big deal. The picnic table might needs the boards replaced, but the Polywood resin Adirondack chairs and tables are in great shape and are very nice. Access to the water was so convenient and you really couldn’t beat the view!
