“This is a charming B&B. It is a gem in a lovely rural mountain setting. The proprietors are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is served in the dining room and not to be missed! We really enjoyed our stay!”

“Booking was effortless through Expedia. We were greeted at the door by Pat, the owner. He gave us a quick tour and set a combo code to the front door of the house of our choosing. There is an open snack and coffee area, and "trail magic" shelf full of items that a hiker might need without a store nearby. The shared bathroom was WELL stocked. “I loved my stay at The 1850. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were some really sweet, personal touches. It's right downtown Boone so it's easy to walk to everything. Daniel and the Dog is a great little bar with delicious food too. The staff was responsive and parking was easy. I look forward to staying there again! ”

Beds were comfortable, kitchenette was well stocked, shower was great. Everything about the room was perfect. It's probably the best room We've ever stayed in.
