My colleague and I traveled from abroad and booked two rooms. A significant flight delay pushed our arrival late into the night. When we arrived, exhausted after a grueling day, the hotel was completely locked up. We discovered their absolute latest check-in time is 21:30—a crucial detail that was incredibly obscure...

“I expected a staffed boutique hotel, especially given its confusing layout. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. and found no staff present. The four pages of check-in instructions were entirely in German, and the entrance we were directed to use was not working. This made getting inside and locating our room unnecessarily difficult. I booked a studio suite so my daughter could sleep on the pull-out sofa, but no linens were provided. Since no staff were available to assist us, we had to take bedding from...

“Location is good, room is clean, service is great. No lake view from our room. No AC and it can get hot at night. Need self check in at night.”
