“Beautiful area with lots of Lake access and hiking! The villa was as advertised and suited our needs perfectly. I only wish the main restaurant was open. It was closed for unknown reasons and I had to drive about 30 mins off property to get dinner. ”

“The property itself was stunning and the unit that we stayed in was great! The location was minutes down the road from the venue itself and the spa, beach, and restaurants. Everything was clean and instructions were very clear.”

“We have stayed at Appel Valley Villas a couple times now. Even though the space is small, there’s everything you need. We did notice that the comforter needed to be washed and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases, otherwise no real issues. We will be coming back to visit soon.”

“We booked this property because of its location, very close to my family, and theme, as my entire family likes Harry Potter. The theme is well done, with decorations, games, costume robes/wands, etc. in every room. Everyone had a great time exploring when we first arrived. The butter beer and Hogwarts candy on the table was a nice, welcoming touch. We all loved the floating candles above the table. We took so many pictures, using some of the decorations as props! My son celebrated his 8th...

“This beautifully appointed studio in the basement of an older home is spacious enough for two people. Charming rooms with stone walls and wood beams, beautiful linens, a functional --but small, note no stove/oven --kitchen. Located conveniently just a few minutes off the main road in Tryon. (Note, tough to find the first time at night, so don't check in after dark.) Really a delightful place to stay, I hope to be back.”

“The space was so cool! We left town to come up and see this city we heard so much about and play some board games. It was an easy walk or drive to both the in city trails, downtown and hiking.
