I don’t generally write negative reviews on rental properties. I’d like to start off by first saying, we did not receive any check-in instructions, nor did we receive an access code to enter the house until 2 hours after check-in time. This means, My family had to wait out on the deck for 2 hours while I was on the phone with VRBO because owner was unresponsive. As soon as entering, there is a note on the wet bar area that states there is a load of dishes in the dishwasher and they didn’t have time to unload them. If checkout is 11:00, and check in is 4:00, there should be an ample amount of time to clean and make things presentable for the next group coming in. There are many reviews on this property citing things are functioning improperly THAT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED; the oven doesn’t switch out of preheat - we couldn’t use this and had to spend more money to feed our family of 9, burned out lightbulbs, missing blinds, etc. I do agree with one below that the view is this property’s only redeeming quality. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this stay to anyone. If there was obvious effort out towards keeping up with maintenance of this home, and concise communication with the owner on check in/checkout instructions, it would be a much more pleasurable experience for all.
