Welcome to “Ivy House,” a modern townhome with charming vintage touches set in the heart of Traverse City. With a bright kitchen, inviting living area, and beautifully furnished bedrooms, it is ideal for families and groups looking to stay near wineries, breweries, restaurants, and downtown attractions. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm and no unauthorized parties are permitted.

We are Pet-friendly! Pet fee is $125 per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs 50 lbs each are allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so that we may get your pet amenities prepared for your arrival. We try our best to keep hair and allergens away, but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware. Please use our provided sofa cover and `retired` towels for your fur friends. Booking guests will be responsible for any pet damage.

Please Note: Quiet hours begin at 10pm, and no unauthorized parties are allowed to ensure a peaceful neighborhood setting.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
All three bedrooms are located on the third floor:

- Bedroom 1: King bed, private ensuite bathroom, Pack ‘n Play and high chair for families.
- Bedroom 2: Two twin beds, closet, bedside lighting.
- Bedroom 3: Queen bed and cozy décor.

A queen sleeper sofa in the living room allows the home to host up to 8 guests plus an infant comfortably — a rare find in central Traverse City!

☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆
There are two full bathrooms on the third floor and a half bath on the second floor. The spacious primary ensuite includes dual sinks and a walk-in shower. The second full bath features a shower and tub combo. All bathrooms are stocked with quality essentials.

☆☆ KITCHEN ☆☆
The well-equipped kitchen features stainless appliances, granite counters, a blender, and a stocked coffee station with tea and condiments. Families will appreciate the children’s bowls, cups, utensils, and high chair. The island offers seating for two, with additional seating at the dining table.

☆☆ LIVING ROOM ☆☆
Relax in the cozy living area furnished with a queen sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, and Smart TV with Hulu, Netflix, and Disney+ (log in with your account). Board games, books, and kids’ toys are provided for rainy days or quiet evenings. Step through the sliding doors to the patio and enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh breeze!

☆☆ PARKING ☆☆
Garage: Best for medium-size vehicles or smaller. If you’re bringing a large vehicle, we recommend using one of the following nearby parking options below!

1- Lot west of the building (behind the dumpster)
2- Street parking on Walnut (summer months only)
3- Grocery store lot one block away

***We manage other properties in the area. Please inquiry with us if you are coming with a lager group***

- Check-in/out: Please note during our peak season (June-September) we discourage late check-outs and early check-ins due to the tight turn-around schedules of our cleaning teams. We are happy to allow for an early check-in or late check-out if our cleaning team is able to accommodate the request and still allow the rental to be cleaned to our quality standards and specifications. All early check-ins and late check-outs will be charged a $250.00 additional fee for this expedited service. We are able to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs during our off season (October-May) for a reduced fee of $50.00, please contact us for further information.

- Longer stays: Please be aware guest stays longer than 10-days will require mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleaning fees are the same amount as the fee charged during booking. A weekly cleaning and linen/towel exchange is required for long-term guest stays, short-term guest stays may request a mid-stay cleaning for an extra fee.

- Security deposit: Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $500 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days within check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially.

- Cancellations: Please check the cancellation policy on your booking platform. Please note that even if you are eligible for a full refund, a credit card processing fee will be deducted.

*Please note that violation of any of these rules is considered a breach of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The owner reserves the right to evict any guests or visitors who refuse to follow these house rules. The violation of house rules may result in deductions from the security deposit or other penalties.

Child Safety: Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times.

Safety & Energy Saving: Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.

Report any damages and/or breakages immediately.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Smoking or burning candles are not allowed inside the home. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.

Please do not wear shoes inside the house. Please turn off any electronics when you leave the house.

Visitors & Noise: No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 8 people. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Third parties are not welcome, and the place is for guests only. Quiet time after 10 p.m. Please refrain from making noises past 10 p.m. to respect our neighbors. NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.

Pets: Dogs are permitted in the house. Please declare your pets to us ahead of checking in and settle any pet related fees. The pet fee is $125 up to 2 pets. Please clean up after your fur friends and use the provided retired towels to clean your dogs. Please do not let your dogs venture into the neighbor’s yards during their walks.

Housekeeping: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will be happy to help arrange additional cleaning during your stay for a fee. If you run out of clean linens (sheets/pillow cases) and towels etc., you are welcome to use the laundry facility to replenish them. PLEASE do not wipe any food, oils, or lotions on the linens. Please use the kitchen towels (paper or cloths) for their intended purposes.

We provide black make-up towels and cotton pads for removing makeup. If our other towels are stained or bleached during your stay, we will charge a $15 replacement fee for each towel.

Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager will not assume responsibility for illness or injury that guest(s) may incur while on the property. Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager, is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or property of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the responsibility of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other people they invite to this property (per owner’s approval). Owner has the right to ask guest(s) to leave the property if these rules are violated. If legal action is taken against guest(s), the at fault party will be responsible for all law suits/lawyer fees. Any violation of these rules could result in you being charged your security deposit and/or legal action taken. Call 911 if there is an emergency and then call the host.

ATTENTION: Missing garage door opener will result in a $200 replacement fee.

Pets:
We have the following rules for our guests with pets or Assistance Animals. This ensures that both your stay, and that of our guests after you, will be enjoyable and relaxing. Our pet fee is $125 for up to two dogs. Maximum occupancy is set at 2 dogs under 50 pounds each. If you have any questions, please ask us! The guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or pets or a service animal.

•Your animal should not be left unattended at any time. Should that become necessary, you must have and use a crate for your animal at all times while you are gone and provide them with sufficient food and water. Please use the labeled pet towels/sofa/bed covers/sheets for your pets cleaning needs and separate them from the towels/sheets provided for guest use.

•You are responsible at all times for your animal`s behavior. While we reasonably expect that your pets or specialty animal are well-trained, should any damage occur, you are responsible for the cost of any cleaning, repairs, or replacements.

•Your animal should have a collar, harness, or microchip with identifying owner information attached should it become lost.

•Your animal must be under the control of verbal or sight commands that they follow at all times.

•Your animal must be housebroken, non-aggressive, not destructive, and not display repeated, unprovoked barking.

•We can ask you to remove your animal and/or leave for excessive barking, aggressive or damaging behavior, or obvious lack of sanitation.

•Please walk your animal for bathroom needs. Indoor piddle pads are not allowed.

•Please clean up deification immediately.

•Please keep your animal off the furniture and counters unless it is specifically needed for your disability.

Quiet and convenient. The parking accommodates one car in the garage and close parking is available. We were able to fit the Ford Flex in the garage. This is a townhouse so be prepared for stairs. The place is delightful. Well-equipped kitchen that even had knives that were actually sharp! That made cutting into those amazing Michigan fall apples safe and easy. Thank you for the opportunity to stay and play! There were some games available to play as well.

From the booking of the stay through to our check out, the communication with the property owner was timely, any questions were quickly answered, check in information was sent when needed for check in. Super nice property, new tons of room and a garage to use as well.My full size crew cab pick up 4 x 4 would not fit in it but plenty of room for a smaller explorer or Tahoe. We used it to store mountain bikes in for the trip.

We only stayed one night, so really only used the bedrooms & bathrooms, but everything was clean and very well stocked with definite attention to detail. There was a good selection of kitchen ware & spices that would have been greatly appreciated had we done any cooking during our stay. Bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries and extras in case anyone would have forgot anything. The listing says garage is best for a small to mid-sized vehicle, but we were able to fit a full sized SUV in it without issue, just had to be careful. Our only real complaint was that the walls had lots of painting patches which didn’t look the best, but didn’t really impact our stay at all. Beds were comfortable, rooms were dark at night, showers were hot and it was relatively quiet at night while sleeping. Would definitely consider staying here again when in the area.

Traverse City Family Compound

We used this place as the hub for our family vacation with our two adult children with their significant others and our 20-month-old grandchild. The place suited our needs well and we felt very comfortable there. We were coming from different parts of the country, so having only one assigned parking space was a little awkward, but don’t let that get in the way of staying here. We looked at a LOT of options before deciding to stay here and are very glad we did. The layout of both the shared living spaces and the bedrooms upstairs was the perfect balance of privacy and family time.

Perfect spot for a family getaway

This place was perfect for me, my sister, brother, mom, and two nephews. Walking distance to the beach, and lots of good restaurants. The beds are super comfortable and it was so nice to have three bathrooms. The host was communicative, and the rental was super clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place, great location, king size bed mattress had a plastic cover on it which made sleeping on it not so nice along with the sheets kept slipping off. The shower heads were not adjustable nor were they on a hose. A nice place but not 5 star.
