Fai un tuffo in questa annata casa in stile cabina "Up North" del 1950 su 100 piedi dello splendido Lago Lungo. Questa posizione non può essere battuto per una riunione di famiglia insieme in estate o per una fuga di stagione fine settimana. A pochi minuti dal centro di Traverse City, questo cottage annata ha un grande "passo indietro nel tempo" si sentono ad essa, ma ha anche molti aggiornamenti in corso per rendere per un soggiorno piacevole. Splash Landing dispone di 4 camere e 2 bagni e possono ospitare fino a 11. (Solo 8 adulti per favore) Pavimenti in parquet attraverso il livello principale. Questa è una casa a due livelli con seminterrato finito walk-out ha pavimenti in legno attraverso l'intero livello principale. Coloro che hanno soggiornato presso Splash negli anni passati saranno piacevolmente sorpresi con la recente ristrutturazione nel livello più basso così come gli aggiornamenti attraverso la casa! Lavasciuga. TV via cavo, DVD. WIFI. Un sacco di libri per curl con e giochi da tavolo troppo. Camino a legna nel soggiorno. Cucina completa con lavastoviglie. Grande punto di vista sul lago dalle ampie finestre del soggiorno! 3 camere da letto hanno una vista sul lago.

All'esterno, bellissimo Lago Lungo vi aspetta. A pochi passi verso il lago dal patio. Nuoto, canottaggio e pesca appena fuori dalla porta! Dock, ormeggio, ascensore barca (si accom. Fino a 17 'barca 3000 lbs. Max). No legatura di attraccare. La piattaforma di nuoto e una barca a remi per un po 'di divertimento di pesca sono inclusi (il molo è messo in tarda primavera dopo che il ghiaccio si rompe e rimosso alla fine di settembre). Portate la vostra barca e motore a Boones Long Lake Inn su ciò che Lake. lago fondo sabbioso Nizza per i più piccoli. griglia a carbone e tavolo da picnic per mangiare all'aperto. pozzo del fuoco per arrostire marshmallows sotto le stelle. Lovely property for our family! The kitchen, however, was ill-supplied i.e. lots of mis-matched and/or lidless old pots and pans, all poorly organized - we had to search to find two decent fry pans, only one of which had a lid, and there are lots of spacious cabinets, largely empty, to search through. The kitchen table overlooking the lake was wonderful - we played a lot of cribbage there - and the little desk nook was perfect for our laptop. What a beautiful lake, and if the weather had cooperated we would have spent most of our time outdoors - unfortunately it was very cold and rainy. So nice to have a fireplace and lots of wood to take the chill off - a much-appreciated warm and cozy up-north vibe.

Exactly as described and great stay

This is an oversized 50s cabin right on the water that we stayed at in the dead of winter. It is very charming and includes most of the original features. Everything works, beds are comfy, and we had a great stay!

Classy Cottage!

I grew up spending my summers at Long Lake at my grandparent's cottage. If you understand what going "up north" used to mean and what a classic cottage was like "back in the day" then this place is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for you It has all the elements of that "retro era" with all the modern day amenities (dishwasher, two full bathrooms--one on each floor, and a washer and dryer! AWESOME! Oh! And there's even a piano.) You have a stunning view of the lake from the entry level and immediate, easy access to a covered patio and deck/fire pit areas as well as a lengthy dock that accommodates both an on-site row boat and an open boat rack. This place is a great family get-away as well as a special girls (or guys for that matter) relaxed retreat. Homey and comfy. Bonus--the lily of the valley that line the driveway were in full bloom and their scent was just heavenly! I'll be returning--this time with my whole family in tow!

Lovely Long Lake property

Great neighborhood, wonderful lake. Location is very convenient to Traverse City and Interlochen. Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, a massive storm blew through the area and destroyed the dock just before we arrived. So, we were not able to take full advantage of the property. The owner/management company did what they could to address our concerns.

Bride to Be Weekend

Property reminded me of an old cabin, clean, warm and cozy inside. Lots of room to sleep, nice mattresses on beds, comfortable sheets, blankets & pillows. Kitchen was nicely stocked, along with a fridge both upstairs and downstairs. Close to Traverse City, but far enough away from the hustle & bustle. Saw first snow of the season and was beautiful on the trees surrounding the lake. Lights in the kitchen didn't work when we got there, but one call to the property manager and they told us where the electrical box was. We turned the breaker back on and we were back in business. All in all, a great place to rest our heads and hang out. Thanks for the nice stay!

Lake house in a Great Location

This is a typical Michigan “Up North” Lakehouse that many families have in their families for generations. There are 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, and two bedrooms and a full bath downstairs. The downstairs walks out to a patio on the lake. Overall the home is cozy and comfortable. It appears to have a decent amount of traffic, which is where the cleanliness concerns come in. Not awful, but could be improved upon. The only other thing I would warn people about is that the bedroom and bathrooms downstairs have low ceilings. Most in our party were under 6ft tall, so it wasn’t an issue, but it might be if you or your family is a taller person.

Enjoyed our stay, but ……..

Older “Vintage “ cottage. Needed 4 bedrooms for 8 (us, kids and spouses. ) Nice layout. Kitchen well supplied. Upper bedrooms were ok and comfortable. However the beds in the basement level were very uncomfortable, so much so that a couple of our kids slept on the sofas. Basement shower didn’t drain well, until my son pulled out a gob of hair from it. Overall could have used a better cleaning as there was a lot of dust and cob webs around. Nice lake front location and close to Traverse City.

Great stay by the water.

I have stayed in this area before but not directly on the water. I was so happy to find a place with direct water access. The dock was a great place to sit and dip your toes, read a book, chat with friends. The water was beautifully clear and you got used to the temperature quickly. The house was great for a few days stay. The cleanliness mark is just because we found a bra and a full nail under one of the beds but otherwise the stay was so nice I couldn't mark it any less than 5 stars. I would recommend and stay there again!

Great Location

The location is pristine and we really loved the view of the lake from the dining table! The only caveat I would point out was the cleanliness of the home. They had hardwood floors so the struggle is always with dust bunnies but with that comes the knowledge of the need to thoroughly clean the floors. Having a wife with dust allergies this turned out to be a nightmare for her with constant flare-ups. All of the vents and air intake locations for the heater were absolutely horridly jammed with dust and it would appear the central heating ducts hadn’t been cleaned in over a decade if not longer. Great wonderful location just needs a little bit more attention to the dust that all over the floor and under the beds and tables before being turned over to new tenants.

Cozy and Quiet

This was a charming home and the view to the water was amazing! The water was so clear and clean. Even though it was still a bit chilly, my kids couldn’t resist. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this home to a family looking for a quiet and fun getaway!

Fun lakefront vacation get-away!

Quiet lakefront cottage on Long Lake within short driving distance to Traverse City. Plenty of room to spread out, enjoy a bonfire and dine in or explore the local attractions.

Perfect Fit

Splash Landing on Long Lake is a unique property. The photos and prior reviews (both pros & cons) offer a fairly accurate view of what to expect. While it might not be ideal for everyone, it met our needs perfectly. It had all of the features we were looking for, yet still rustic enough for us to relax and feel completely at home. The members of our group are not very tall, so the low ceilings in the walk-out level were not an issue for us, but probably would be for anyone over 5'9". The dock and mooring fit our boat perfectly. We enjoyed kayaking, boating, paddle boarding and playing cards at night in the dining area. The piano was a nice surprise as we are also a musical family. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows tucked away in cabinets, which was nice for the cool evenings. Friends who live in the area came to visit one day and we had fun playing volleyball at the neighborhood park nearby. Its proximity to shopping and other conveniences are a plus, although we preferred supporting the local grocery across the lake...their pizza was so good that we had it twice that week. We have spent the past 20+ years renting lake homes in Michigan. Some, we would not wish to return to. This one, definitively.

Great views!

We can to Traverse City so our “90-plus grandmothers” could see their great grandchild for the first time.... so we needed bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. It had that, plus a wonderfully supplied kitchen so we could even have everyone over for an Easter dinner cookout. The dining table overlooked a spectacular view of the lake and we saw beautiful sunsets each night. Truly a comfortable home for all of us AND our two dogs.

Awesome lake and location

Love long lake. Mooring ball held my 20’ boat very well. Location is very friendly as well. Home had a very charming cottage feel. Frustrated with 4:00 check in. Would not allow us to check in early because we were told they were still cleaning the place. The place just wasn’t clean. Especially the exterior. Otherwise, I think I would rent it again.
