Mountain View Cottage

La nostra casa e cottage per gli ospiti si trova su 11 ac. incastonato nella valle su una collina tra Lookout e Sand Mountains. Il nostro vialetto è lungo oltre 400 piedi che consente molta privacy. Il cottage è stato costruito come una suite suocera situata separatamente sul vialetto dalla casa principale. Ci sono due stagni su questa proprietà di montagna, lo stagno principale è di circa 1,5 ac situato lungo il ciglio della strada, il secondo stagno sarà rifornito di pesce gatto, questo stagno è stato appena costruito e non ancora riempito completamente di acqua. Sono stati situati 1 - 3 miglia da numerosi buoni ristoranti locali e della catena in città. Siamo a breve distanza dal Cloudland Canyon -10 minuti, Rock City, Ruby Falls e Chattanooga, sono anche a breve distanza. Ruby Falls dispone di una torre di arrampicata di 40 piedi con cinque percorsi di varia difficoltà e 700 piedi di veloci linee zip con vista mozzafiato sulla valle del Tennessee! Anche Lookout Mountain Flight Park - Centro di formazione per deltaplano e parapendio. Una delle migliori esperienze di deltaplano nel paese è a soli 10-15 minuti di distanza.

Very cute cottage and neighborhood. I was a little skeptical about staying in a MIL-suite type cottage across the way from the hosts, but it was super easy and didn’t feel intrusive in any way. We were on the last leg of our road trip with our little ones (3 and 6 years old), so we used this time to just have some chill time which worked out well because we knew the weather wasn’t going to be stellar. The space was enough for us and had everything we may have needed if we stayed longer. It’s a great “pass through” location or for a longer stay with tons in the areas surrounding. Our kids enjoyed just wandering around the property and hanging out. The hill into the parking area after the long driveway is much steeper than we were prepared for, but not an issue for us, our car is just lower to the ground, so just be ready for that if you have a lower car. Overall, super cute space and great for couples or those with easy going littles.

The views around were beautiful and we were just a short drive away from great views and attractions. Absolutely top notch. Our stay was wonderful, our host was very prompt to text with arrival and departure instructions. Their property was immaculate and every possible item was provided. I would definitely recommend this property for a couple who are wanting to explore the area. We hiked every day and never ran out of places to see. Very convenient to grocery stores you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Thank you James and Angela for hosting us.

We loved our time at the cottage. It was clean and up to date. Comfortable bed and great AC. Shower was spacious and refreshing. Close to interstate but safely tucked behind a gated home lot. My wife and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon in 2022 and liked it so much we decided to go back for our first anniversary. The property is located about 30 minutes from Chattanooga and if you like waterfalls Cloudland Canyon is a must. The house is very clean, and the host think of everything. I put in the booking that we were coming back for our anniversary, and they had a gift basket and a card for use when we arrived. We enjoyed looking at the goats, chickens and sitting by the lake as well. We will defiantly stay here again.
