“The hotel room was spacious with balcony, with view of the forest. However, there was no hot water for showering on the night we arrived. It was at 8:30 pm, so I went to the reception desk since the letter that we were given during check in earlier that night stated that the front desk was staffed till 9:00 pm. There was nobody there. We called their service number and spoke with the lady owner who said that they would send their "colleague" who lived in the building that night. Nobody...

“Located on the other side of Hallstatt, in the small town of Obertraun, this hotel offers a calm and serene environment. We booked a lake-view room and had an amazing view. The rooms are small but clean and well maintained. There is a café next door and a pizza place nearby. Breakfast was basic and not worth €18. There are benches by the lake where you can sit and enjoy the view. Hallstatt is about 10 minutes away by car, boat, or bus.”

Lovely very small coffee shop and café on ground floor. Great selection of high quality cakes. No TV in room but don't let that put you off. It's a very nice place to stay.”
