Baite a Tronadora

“Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. We went for something to eat, and then came back to the cabin for a shower and a nights sleep. My 2 friends were...

“Cabanas Los Laguitos is a little heaven in earth, it is where you can connect to nature and to experience the real rainforest in Costa Rica. Host are great, welcome, friendly, warm, real people with no agenda other than to ensure you are feeling like home!! You are 5 mins driving distance to volcán Tenorio, Rio Celeste waterfalls and river. The horse ridding tour is a real adventure!! I already booked a second trip!!”

“Une vue superbe, dans un coin calme. La chambre est grande avec une superbe terrasse. C’est calme et bien équipé, avec un accueil très attentionné”

“Clean, friendly, as described very reasonable ”

“Rooms were clean and tidy but the kitchen was not. Coffee maker had mold, silverware and dishes were not clean, we ended up eating out instead of cooking. Pool was beautiful and clean. Property was a wonderful place to relax and explore. Proximity to town was great assuming you have transportation. Check out the garden Maze nextdoor.”

“The hosts were fabulous. Met us when we arrived and explained a few things. Some will was undertaken whilst we were staying there which made the kitchen much more usable and the bathroom for storage. Not quite big enough for a family of 5. Sleeping was well catered for but not enough room to sit inside for 5 people on the dining table or in the evening in the living room. However a stunning table outside which is covered so this can be used. We saw a sloth in the back garden and numerous birds...

“Unique and unforgettable experience. Home was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.”

“Las personas muy amables”

“Un lugar precioso con un gerente estupendo que te ayuda en lo que puede. Lo recomiendo cien por cien.”

“Excellent stayall around! The family who maintains the place was very friendly and a joy to talk to. It was a perfect way to spend our first evening in Costa Rica! Breakfast was delicious!”

“Awesome little place to stay, feels very private”

“Incredible stay… very appreciative. ”

“This little cabin was the perfect stay for us! Close enough to town but tucked away where it’s peaceful. We loved hearing the creek and wildlife chatter from our back porch. I would definitely stay here again!* Note: Host will come inside and turn off your ac unit when you’re gone if you forget to do so. *”
