We are a short 4km drive from the Town of Tronadora where you can find restaurants, grocery, cafe's, bakeries, a fruit and vegetable stand and a butcher. For a greater selection, we are a quick 20-minute drive to Tilaran.


You will have the entire private home to yourselves. As our guest, you also have full access to the outstanding amenities within our secure, gated community, Vistas Del Lago.

Welcome to this charming property, which features not one, but two delightful living spaces! The main house is designed with comfort in mind, showcasing two spacious primary suites, each complete with its own ensuite bath. The living room offers a queen-size Murphy bed and space for a rollaway twin bed, ensuring flexibility for your friends and family.

In addition, you’ll discover a separate one-bedroom apartment that radiates warmth and elegance, featuring a luxurious queen-size bed and ample space for a rollaway twin bed in the living area—perfect for accommodating friends or family.

Outdoors, the property presents two stunning patios. One patio, with breathtaking lake views, is accessed through large patio doors. At the same time, the other is a beautifully shaded retreat—ideal for enjoying those sunny afternoons —and is accessed from the kitchen.

To top it all off, the primary suite features a lovely soaking tub overlooking the lush lawn and adjacent creek, providing a serene escape where you can unwind and appreciate the soothing sounds of nature. This property truly offers a wonderful blend of comfort and tranquillity!

A vehicle is absolutely recommended should you decide to visit us. However we have had guests who came without one and we can recommend driving services to get you out and about as needed.

We are only 3 miles from the picturesque town of Tronadora, with the prettiest park in Guanacaste, where you can find everything you need including, a grocery store, butcher, bakery, liquor, 2 restaurants, and for those looking for the nightlife, there is also a bar.

An easy 1.5 hour drive from Liberia Airport and 3 hours from San Jose. If arriving in San Jose with less than 5 hours of daylight ( considering the time to get through customs, immigration and pick up a rental car) we recommend that you stay over near the airport and get a fresh start in the morning. Most of the roads are paved however not well marked and there are lots of twists and turns.

This community has 24-hour gated access. On-site security provides peace of mind that you and your belongings will be safe. We will initially grant you access. You will then receive a gate fob for easy access in and out of the community.

To ensure a smooth and secure check-in, our Homeowners Association has instituted the following security protocols. Please be prepared to provide these in advance of your stay:

Passport Photo: We require a photo of the photo page of your passport to provide to security for your initial entry into the community.

Please also note that our community is an expansive 80-acre property with some super great walking roadways, some covered with asphalt and some not. We invite you to walk, jog, and explore. Please stick to the roadways and do not enter private property. Failure to observe this courtesy could result in cancellation of your reservation.
