Aspen Grove Getaway - Walk to Northstar!

This cozy condo, located in the heart of Northstar, is just minutes from the slopes and trails and you can walk to The Village at Northstar!

As you walk in the front door, you will find 2 bedrooms down the hall, one with a queen bed and with a single over queen bunk bed, sleeps 3, and an updated bathroom.
Upstairs features the kitchen, an open living room and dining room, along with a cozy gas fireplace. The living room also provides access to the deck where you can enjoy the views and get some fresh air while you cook up something delicious on the grill. Continue up to the next level and find another bathroom and the main bedroom with a king size bed and vanity sink.

- Bedroom #1: King size bed, sleeps 2, television, and sink/vanity area
- Bathroom: Full bath with shower/tub, sink, and toilet

Main Level
- Living Room: Seating for 4, wood-burning stove, and large flat screen TV
- Dining Room: Seating for 8
- Kitchen: Fully stocked with gas stove and oven, built-in microwave, wine rack, toaster oven, and more
- Back Deck: Access from living room

Lower Level

- Bedroom #2: Queen size bed, television, and private deck

Northstar California Resort has everything from California cool to high-end luxury. Winter offers almost 100 trails and over 3,000 skiable acres. Summer at Northstar features an 18-hole championship golf course, rec center with a large family pool, adult lap pool, exercise center, tennis courts, kids play area including a bungee trampoline, and countless biking or hiking trails. Lake Tahoe is only 10 minutes from your door. A community shuttle is available year-round to take you to the ski lift, the golf course and The Village at Northstar.

The NPOA Recreation Center provides members and their guests (for a small fee) with access to pools (Lap Pool open year round), hot tubs, dry saunas, fitness facility, game room, tennis courts (summer only), bocce ball & basketball, nature trail, kids playground, and summer activities. Wonderful place to stay, we had three kids and they all were very comfortable downstairs. Very clean and lots of utilities, which is always nice. Walking distance to the village. Not the best place if you have older relatives with you tho. Loved our stay!

Aspen Grove Property

I was disappointed in the condition of the property. In one of the downstairs bedrooms an electrical outlet (plug) was hanging from the wall and unusable. The downstairs deck was full of spiderwebs and cob webs. There was a dirty laundry item left in the washing machine. Bedroom closets were unusable as they were full of extra linens, blankets etc. Bathtubs/showers were difficult to get in and out of due to the tub being extremely tall and wide to accommodate whirlpool jets and there were no grab bars to assist. Lighting in bathrooms was very dark.

Location! Cleanliness!

Overall we had a wonderful stay. This unit is nestled in a quiet area that is very close to all the action! The only downside to this rental in the summer is there is no air conditioning or ceiling fans in the unit. The rental provided a few standing fans, however the second and third floor were quite warm even with fans going until about 10pm while we were there. The rooms had windows that could be opened, however the position of the unit didn’t provide for much airflow. The washer and dryer were a great bonus for wet towels at the end of the day! We very much enjoyed the location of the unit and proximity to the village and recreation center. The recreation center was wonderful, something for all ages to enjoy. The check in process was easy and the keyless entry made coming and going through the weekend very easy. I would definitely love to stay at the unit in the winter during ski season! Thank you!

Clean and close

Nice condo. Had everything we needed. Perfect for our group and very close to the Village. 5pm Check in was a bit later than expected but we made it work. Clean and beds we’re comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Great ski condo

Fantastic location, well furnished and very well supplied condo. We were super happy and comfortable there while skiing and the walk/ski path to the gondola is so convenient. Property manager was very responsive to a couple of minor things that came up and resolved them quickly. Only thing to be aware of if you have allergies is lots of pet hair around that ended up on our clothes.
