    Experience this Tahoe Donner treat! Boasting convenient access to world-class hiking, snowshoeing, and ski resorts, plus shared amenities galore, this home is the perfect year-round getaway. Enjoy a scenic setting beneath the pines on either of the home's front and back decks. Inside, natural light pours in through the many windows in the open-concept living area. Exposed beams and wood floors accent the rustic setting while modern updates provide essential comforts. Cozy up in front of the TV with the gas stove going for a movie night or just enjoy gazing out the large, picture window. Full-size, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen are well-equipped to handle any meal.



    When it's time to explore, take advantage of access to Tahoe Donner community amenities (for an additional daily fee), including a shared pool, hot tub, sauna, and tennis courts. Area attractions and sightseeing are all within an easy drive.



    The Tahoe Donner HOA has instituted new changes to its Guest Pass Policy. This home has 6 guest passes (one pass per person aged 3 and up). Tahoe Donner amenity rates are subject to change. 6 cards are available with 1 person per card. Please get in touch with Tahoe Donner for up-to-date pricing.



    2026 Short-Term Tenant Card Restrictions

    STR cards are welcome at the private amenities approximately 332 days of the year. To prioritize member access during the holidays, STR Tenant restrictions are being implemented on the following dates:

    July 1-5 (July 4th)

Winter Wonderland

This property was perfectly located, well kept, comfortable and cozy, plenty of room for our family and our daughters' friends. I would absolutely seek this property out again when staying in Truckee.

Lots of fun snow play fun for a family

We were very comfortable in the property and there were so many fun things to do in the snow at Tahoe Donner for the whole family (snow play, snowshoeing, hot tub and swimming the rec Ctr).

A cozy cabin

My family and I enjoyed staying at this cabin very much. I liked the open kitchen and they had everything I needed to cook for my family. I especially loved the big window in the living room Ames enjoyed the view. I’d love to come back and stay again!

Adorable place

We loved this little house. Fit our family of four perfectly, could have had grandma come if we wanted. Very clean and everything was very comfortable!!

Do your self a favor and book this cabin!

Great for families, mountain enthusiast, or just the casual explorer of the Northern Sierras. Located conveniently off Highway 80 and right around the corner to the city of Truckee! This cabin includes modern amenities with all the coziness required of a Truckee cabin. We had the most relaxing evening after a long day on the slopes and I must say I will be back!

Great house for a ski trip

The house was very clean, it had everything that one would wish to have for a stay; the 3 bedrooms were plenty to share for our family with 3 teenagers. The house is close to Truckee and almost equidistant between Palisades and Sugar Bowl; thank you! Will book again!

Wonderful White Christmas

We stayed in the Truckee Mountain Retreat during the holiday. We cooked our Christmas Eve meal at the house with no problem. The house has been remodeled nicely. We had lot's of room for snow wear, jackets and boots. The bathrooms and showers are roomy and clean. Great location between Truckee and Sugar Bowl, easy access to the freeway. We will stay during the coming summer to enjoy the outdoor deck. Lots of space for walks and hikes. We had a great time.

Poor Vacasa guest services

The house itself was really clean and spacious. The door lock combination stopped working the second day and we were at the risk of getting locked out in the snow storm, had one of the friends not been in the house already. The guest services were not available despite multiple attempts to reach them on the phone

Good home, poor service by Vacasa

Home is fine for a family, kitchen is good and well stocked. Living room is good and functional with smaller TV and fireplace. Bedrooms and beds are fine. Bathrooms are upgraded. Furnishings could be better and access to master bed for one side is weird due to slope of roof. Stairs are very shallow and need to be careful to avoid tripping. Overall home is good and would recommend to others. Service provided by Vacasa was poor for an issue that we encountered.
