Welcome to Northstar Hideaway, your charming cabin nestled among the towering pines of Lake Tahoe!

Step into the living area and be embraced by warmth and comfort. Designed with mountain-inspired style, this space features rich wood paneling, a striking stone fireplace, and inviting sofas. Expansive windows on both sides of the home bring in the beauty of the surrounding pines. Adjacent to the living area, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen complete with a breakfast bar. The open layout connects seamlessly to the dining area, centered by a beautiful chandelier —a perfect setting for enjoying home-cooked meals.

Out one side of the living area, the front deck awaits, furnished with a dining table, grill, and sun loungers. This is the spot for summer BBQs, al fresco dining, and soaking in the sun with a cool drink in hand. On the other side, the back deck offers additional seating, where you can unwind surrounded by the fresh scent of pine trees and the sounds of the forest.

The sleeping arrangements at Northstar Hideaway cater to any type of group. The primary bedroom is a private retreat, boasting a queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 features another queen, while Bedrooms 3 and 4 each offer a twin bunk bed and an additional twin bed—ideal for kids or close friends. Two more full bathrooms provide convenience and privacy for everyone.

Northstar Hideaway’s location is unbeatable, making it a fantastic choice in any season. In the summer, you’re just a five-minute walk from the Northstar Golf Course and a short 10-15 minute drive to Kings Beach and the sparkling shores of Lake Tahoe. The Tompkins Memorial Trail is right out the back door. Take the trail up to Northstar Village or down through Martis Valley with 17.5 miles of hiking, running, and biking trails. With a daily fee, guests also have access to the Northstar Recreation Center with a swimming pool, tennis, pickleball, a lap pool (open year-round), hot tubs, a sauna, a fitness center, a game room, and so much more. In the winter, the world-class Northstar Ski Resort is less than a five-minute drive away, so you can hit the slopes in no time. There’s even a shuttle service right from your doorstep to Northstar Village, so no driving is necessary to get to the slopes! Truckee is only 10-15 minutes in the opposite direction, where you can explore local shops, dining, and charming mountain-town vibes all year round.

- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note this home does not have AC.
- Please note there is NO trash pickup - guests will need to discard all trash at the designated Homeowners Dumpster Area. Instructions will be provided. Failure to discard trash will result in fines.
- The home has a steep driveway. Vehicles MUST have 4-wheel drive/chains to access the home in the winter.
- There is a door-to-door shuttle that will take you to Northstar Village during the ski season. Download the Northstar app to schedule shuttle services. (Tip your drivers!)
- Please note: Access to the NPOA Recreation Center requires a separate fee of $10 per person, per day, and is not included with your reservation.

Parking Details:
- 1 parking space available in the garage (guest access to the right side of the garage only).
- 4 parking spaces available in the driveway, but please note, the driveway is steep.
- No street parking.

This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib and high chair available.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.
