Beautiful Weekend
We had a great weekend staying in the property. The wood burner was great for a chilly early spring weekend, Elizabeth was very clear and accommodating in her communications making it very easy and everything was just great. My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and the accommodations at the Yurt were perfect for my wife and I!

So great! Love the yurt!,
This was my 2nd stay, and it was even better than I remembered. Extremely easy to find this off the beaten path very unique location. Wonderful outdoor area, new comfy chairs by fire pit. Great big living space and super loft bed area.

Finger Lakes Yurt
This yurt is perfectly located to experience all the features of the Seneca and Cayuga Lake areas of the Finger Lakes region...wine tasting, hiking, Watkins Glen, Trumansbug, Ithaca, etc. Nestled into the woods - woods that are beautiful with the fall colors - the yurt was a rustic, but clean and functional, experience not to be missed.

So relaxing
The yurt has a rustic feel in harmony with the land, but with conveniences we've come to need (wifi!). We loved strolling the path nearby, visiting Trumansburg and Watkins Glen. It's a wonderful location, secluded but close to a myriad of activities.

Short stay
Stayed overnight after seeing Steve Hackett at the State Theater in Ithaca. Did not get to check out the grounds because it was rainy and cold. Was a nice place.

Tranquil and unique
The view of the stars was breathtaking! We didn't get to check out the property in full since we were on the last leg of our first family road trip, just staying the night, but the trail behind the yurt was a nice quick hike. We had hoped to check out the Ithaca Children's Garden nearby - maybe a future trip. The farm on the property offered tours or fresh produce. We are a family of four, with kiddos ages 5 and 7. We enjoyed the yurt's unique construction and fun loft area. We were too tired to build up the fire but would recommend doing so in the future - the electric heaters didn't give off much heat, but that was our own fault since the wood was fully stocked with great instructions throughout the yurt for how to use things like the wood stove or French Press, etc. Thanks for a unique family experience - hope to return. Very Cool Property
Quaint and private property on a working farm. Very unique/cool. Spacious, exceptionally clean and well equipped. Great location between Seneca and Cayuga lakes. Convenient to Watkins Glen and/or Ithaca. Will definitely return!

Perfect
Our stay was exactly as we expected according to the description. In fact it exceeded our expectations. We loved being centrally located to all the places we wanted to go. We enjoyed being able to have the availability to cook and stay in, or go out to eat. We especially enjoyed the privacy, and if we had any needs, questions, or concerns, we were able to easily reach our host. It was an incredible week to say the least.

Sisters aloft
Being in this clean, circular yurt with a clear domed high ceiling, so beautifully designed was a delight. Surrounded by a forrest and sheep pastures with either rain pitter patter or stars, we had no problem getting a fabulous nights sleep in the loft. This was an ideal place to use as a base to hike, swim and enjoy the Robert Treman State Park waterfalls and Ithaca! Every detail from coffee in the kitchen to a great shower was perfect.

Perfect Yurt Stay
The yurt was a perfect location for a secluded and relaxing getaway to the Finger Lakes. It is directly halfway between Watkins Glenn and Ithaca, which have extensive beautiful hiking trails. It is also only 10 minutes away from Cayuta Lake boat launch where I put in my kayak. 10 out of 10.

Wonder seclusion but close to everthing
Super fun yert nestled again the forest on a private lane. Very adequate facilities. We loved the emphasis on recycling and energy conservation. Nice deck with table and chairs. Plenty of seating inside. 2 bed options.

Great spot!
My husband, 12 year old, and I came to spend three nights in the yurt. We loved it! It was the perfect amount of space for us to spread out but still feel cozy and secluded. We enjoyed exploring Ithaca and the surrounding parks/hiking. Really enjoyed the farm property and watching the sheep and chickens. The yurt was well appointed and we would definitely visit again!

Peace and quiet yet close to everything.
We enjoyed our time in the yurt. It is completely private and quiet and yet 30 minutes from endless parks, lakes, wineries, and breweries. We found everything we needed for cooking and the bed is very comfortable. It takes a little getting used to climbing up the ladder but is very safe and fun to see the stars. We had a fire one evening in the woods behind the yurt with the provided chairs, wood, and fire ring. Even though there is no AC the ceiling fan, windows, shade, and additional fans kept things quite pleasant. We walked the path through the woods and saw a deer. We would definitely stay here again!

Hours of quiet and serenity
Everything as advertised and then some. To be removed from the everyday speed of life. No television or radio helped limit that impact . The living quarters were very comfortable and offered everything needed. Sitting on the deck offered the sounds of wildlife with views varying from open to wooded. Nice sitting area in the woods to read and have a fire if desired. An all around good experience.... Thank you

Trip with Grandson
It was a fun overnight spot. We had been to the Watkin Glen area — grandparents with a 19 year old grandson. Elizabeth, the owner, was easy to communicate with — had no issues. We used the wood stove to take the chill off —warmed the place right up. Found a Mexican restaurant in nearby town for supper. Played cards. Made breakfast in the morning. Lovely lilacs blooming — had a vase of them on the table when we got there.

Loved the yurt!
What a truly unique experience. The serenity of the farm…The simplicity of the yurt…The stars….The wood stove….The coyotes howling and yelping… We loved our time here, and we’d love to come back. It was great to ‘disconnect’, and yet..we had everything we needed.

Charming Yurt
My husband, 13 year old nephew and I stayed here for one night while visiting the area. The location right between Ithaca and Watkins Glen was perfect for us. The property the yurt is located on is just lovely. We found it to be the perfect place to rest for the night.

First Time Yurt Experience
This was the most wonderful experience! My husband and I loved living in the yurt for 3 days. It was very quiet and clean. The wooded trails on the property were beautiful. We did hiking daily at the state parks which were close by. We highly recommend this property. Elizabeth was very welcoming! We will be back😊

Fun Birthday adventure
Decided to rent a yurt as a new adventure for my birthday trip to the finger lakes. So fun! Well equipped, clean with thick towels, soft sheets, super comfy bed in loft and comfortable futon if you don't want to climb the ladder. But it is a yurt so those who don't know how to "really cook " sorry no microwave. Stove, oven and toaster oven provided. Small refrigerator and freezer. This yurt does have a nice indoor bathroom with generous size shower. (not all do). Again it's a yurt, so no air conditioning but not to worry, it's amazing how the multiple fans kept the place cool. Three large windows open and air circulates well. Was very cool at night. No TV either but if you have to connect they do have wifi. Cell service is spotty in the area until we got into Ithaca but texting always seemed to work even in the state parks. Host available by text and responds quickly to any questions or needs that might come up. We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful simplicity of being out in nature. Very close to several State parks. LOTS of waterfalls to see. Close enough to go to Ithaca for dinner. Host provided a great listing of things to do and restaurants to go to. Buy some of the delicious maple syrup tapped at their farm as a souvenir. Would definitely recommend this place! Had the most amazing smoked chicken wings at Glenwood Pines Restaurant up 89 on the way to Taughannock Falls. A bit north of Ithaca. Enjoyed El Rancho Mexican Restaurant for lunch in Watkins Glen. (State parks $10 parking fee but can come and go all day at any park that day) Souvlaki Greek had delicious large beef gyros but dolmades lacked flavor. Purity Ice Cream was good but we thought it was a bit pricy. $15 for two double scoop cones! Enjoy...lots of great places to eat.
