Beach House si trova a 100 metri dalla spiaggia Bandiera Blu di Porthtowan, un piccolo villaggio sul mare con una splendida spiaggia di sabbia di 1 miglio, incorniciata dalla costa protetta dal National Trust e servita dai bagnini RNLI. Impara a navigare nel leggendario Tris Surf o goditi il brivido della natura sdraiato su una tavola di schiuma. Sulla spiaggia si trova il "Blue Bar", un pub della Good Pub Guide con ottimo cibo, e il caffè Chapel Porth National Trust, sede del famoso gelato HedgeHog. Gli escursionisti prendono il sentiero costiero sud-ovest dal cancello attraverso la costa della Cornovaglia settentrionale, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Per i ciclisti: prendi una pista ciclabile da costa a costa di 11 miglia lungo le vecchie linee ferroviarie e una delle migliori strutture BMX nel Regno Unito si trova nelle vicinanze. Ottima posizione per tutta la Cornovaglia, a soli 5 minuti dalla A30. 20 minuti a Truro, 30 minuti a Newquay, Falmouth e St Ives. St Michaels Mount, Padstow, Lands End e The Eden Project si trovano nel raggio di 45 minuti.

Great property, good kitchen facilities, great location near the beach, but the uneven access caused more issues than expected; one of our party fell on loose decking and broke their glasses.

This house is in a stunning location with amazing sea views. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our weeks holiday. We had adults, an infant and dogs too. It felt spacious enough that we all had our own spaces and the fact there were 4 bathrooms was amazing. The steps upto the house are difficult but so worth it.

Great holiday house and close to beach. We appreciated the improvements that have been made to the property since our last visit but we missed the large bbq which has been replaced with a small one not big enough when cooking for ten guests .

The house was great for a group of 8. it has good rooms and was clean. For our group it was big enough and it has all what is needed. It was a lovely time in Porthtowan and the house is located perfectly.

Wow those steps !!

Excellent but details are right about the steps. Would not suit anyone with mobility/medical problems. View fantastic as were locals except for abusive neighbour as we were trying to load our car this morning. Can’t possibly repeat her language but people renovating next door helpful. Lovely property with great views, comfortable and well equipped. We've stayed in the village several times but this was our first time in this house, I'm sure it won't be the last.Lots of steps up to the property, might be a problem for older and less physically fit people, but weren't a problem for us. The views are worth it! We found the steep driveway a bit of a problem but found parking elsewhere

Perfect Short Family Break

We had a few minor problems on arrival, which are charming host sorted quickly. The house and location are stunning. It is close to the beach, various eateries and a Post Office/ local store.The steps up to the house were challenging, but worth the effort. All the rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. And it was wonderfully quiet at night. We hope to return.

The property and location were great. The car parking was was not ideal but we knew that clearly beforehand. The thing that was not mentioned beforehand was all the steps and was a hassle taking pushchairs and prams and even the luggage up and down. Overall it was worth the hassles !

Great Beach Home

The property was extremely clean and well-stocked. It's a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the beach. We really enjoyed our time there. The driveway is a killer and there are several steps to the entrance, but the climb is so worth it! Thanks for a great few days in Porthtowan!

Great location and beautiful views

Lovely stay, nice house took advantage of the beach which was lovely. Great bar by the sea nearby. Some decor needs refreshing and the single day beds are not suitable for teens as too restrictive. House has everything you need but bring firewood and kindling as not much provided.

Great spot

Matk was very accommodating so thank you. Lovely spot right next to the beach. Yes the steps was a challenge by myself and dogs but was well worth it just for the view.Not able to park on the drive as the Car wouldn’t get up the drive due to luggage in thr boot. Parked in a nearby car parkProperty had everything I needed and was very cleanI did highlight to Mark about the oil tank outside producing fumes but haven’t had a response. So be careful using naked flames next to it . Nice large fridge but the surround system didn’t work although there was sky and a large TV. Loved the living room. And the blind mechanism which was quite smart. It is an old building so expect some noise from the pipes when the boiler is on Overall great vacation let. Sent from my iPhone
