I was in rush to the train station to catch the hourly train back to Montreux but could only reached the hotel to retrieve my luggage 10 min before the train departure. The staff offered an exceptional drive for me so that I could catch the train. That gave me an excellent first impression of the Swiss!”

“L'alpe fleurie è un graziosissimo albergo in pieno centro, di fronte alla stazione di Villars da cui parte il trenino che porta direttamente sulle piste. Ben arredato, con bei bagni nuovissimi, comodo, pulito, con parcheggio per gli ospiti e un buon ristorante. Le camere con vista sulle montagne hanno un panorama mozzafiato sui Dents du Midi. Consigliatissimo.”

“the hotel and staff are perfect! location and food could not be better. you can hike directly from the hotel and view is truly spectacular from the hotel. For me the only small downside is that the pillows on the bed are very thin. Not sure if other types of pillows are available i did not check with the hotel. ”
