“Lovely quiet spot away from the crowds in Yufuin, excellent food and fantastic service. The hotel is older but has been maintained. The rooms are simple but clean, large and comfortable. As all rooms in Japan there is limited places to put suitcases and unpack fully. Lobby and restaurant are beautiful and very modern. Highly recommended. ”

“んー。お部屋で晩御飯。馬刺し。美味しい。朝ご飯も食べ放題ではないけど、和食でお腹いっぱい。美味しい。ただ、トイレのセンサーが勝手に電気を消しちゃうのはビックリ。あと、おふろあが全て家族風呂の貸し切りなのは困った。この年で主人と一緒にお風呂に入るのはゴメンですね。申し訳ないけど、別々に入らせていただきました。”

“Completely out the way, quiet, genuine staff who serve you a lovely dinner in your room. I hit a quiet patch so really managed to detach and got the Onsen to myself. It is away from the main town that the bus goes to but they were really happy to give me a lift there, and if i'd stayed there i wouldn't have found the waterfall that again i had completely to myself for some skinny dipping.”

“30年程前に山みず木に宿泊、別邸の深山山荘は初めて　夕飯時に同日の宿泊者が多かった事がわかってビックリしたほど、とても静かで隣接の音も全く聞こえずゆっくり部屋や大浴場も楽しめた 部屋風呂と川沿いの庭も素晴らしい、部屋も広く快適に過ごせた 夕食は口コミ等、あまり表記も少なかったので期待せずに伺いましたが、味、内容の配慮、量、全てに大満足でした ”

“Enjoyed our luxurious stay. Everyone was so friendly and kind. The property and area are beautiful. We booked a room with a private bath to add to the luxury. Also a bit shy being westerners so got to enjoy a lot of baths without feeling uncomfortable. Food was good and presentation was gorgeous. Almost too much for us but that seems to be standard with kaiseki meals!”

“我們是自駕，入口是很小條的路，招牌不是很明顯，勇敢開進去就是了。有少量停車位。從停車開始就可以感受到接待人員的熱情，幫忙停車、搬運行李。入住時還發給小朋友小玩具，大廳古色古香，一進去就聞到令人放鬆的香味。晚餐時會協助鋪床，還會送上一壺冰水，方便在泡澡後使用。晚餐是懷石料理，有依照我們的飲食習慣，不吃生食、不吃牛肉的予以客製化，十分感謝。除了公共浴池，還有二間家庭湯屋，可以從房間播電話預約，服務人員可以說英語。check out時才結帳，並交還車鑰匙，比較特別。不僅是大人餐食，兒童的餐食也是非常豐富，早餐有牛奶、咖啡、蘋果汁可以續加。菜單上可以看到手寫的訊息，真的很細心。”

“This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in while in Japan. Every floor has a different layout and the rooms themselves are like small houses. Everything is spacious, and ease to get around. Plus, the onsens are AMAZING. I almost fell asleep while using one. Most of the staff doesn't speak English, so either practice your Japanese or bring a translator with you. ”
