This Home Away from Home is tastefully updated and features 4 beds and 2 baths, pool (not heated), private patios, outdoor and indoor seating, WIFI, TVs in multiple areas, a work space for traveling professionals/students and more. This home and neighborhood are extremely family friendly and this a prefect place to unwind and relax. Booking available for all of your needs; from an overnight stay, weekend getaway, in-between moving or longer term needs. No large gatherings or parties allowed, no exceptions. Dogs only. No cats.

Pool days

I have stayed in other properties owned by Lisa and she is amazing! The house was exactly as listed and very clean. Beds were super comfortable and plenty of room for my family for our 5 day stay. The pool was a hit and we were in it every day. Thank you Lisa I look forward to booking with you again in the near future!

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover

The title of my review is certainly indicative of this property. The neighborhood is made up of older homes built in the 70s..some well cared for, some not so good. The interior of the house is exactly like the pictures…newly renovated and plenty of room for families to spread out or to be quiet. The kitchen is well equipped, but could use a few more glasses and mugs. The house was extremely clean. We have been renting condos/ houses since 1993 and Lisa, the manager, is, by far, the best we have ever dealt with. Top notch with communication and replies. Two downsides to this property..is that the HVAC unit is outside the primary bdrm and is quite loud when it runs, but you get used to hearing it. The patio area needs some major TLC…dead vines that need to be pulled out and a general clean up. The pool is solar heated, so a bit chilly, but we still used it on hot days for a quick dip. The area is SE Tucson, so it’s only a hour plus a bit to Tombstone, Kartchner Caverns, Bisbee and Tubac. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again.

Perfect home!

The home was clean, with all amenities that were described in the listing. Check in and out was a breeze, all rooms were comfortable and common spaces were perfect for family gathering. Lots of great spaces for conversations as well as spaces to chill on your own and read a book. The location is nice and quiet and about 15 - 20 mins from everywhere we wanted to go. Grocery stores and restaurants are about 5-10 mins away and plenty of options. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Terrific Quiet and Nice

This place was great. The house is quite large. The AC blows cold, the pool was very relaxing and it was perfect place to stay in Tucson! I highly recommend for anyone staying.

Quiet easy stay

We had 4 adults and 2 young tweens and stayed 6 days. There was plenty of move around room for all of us. The pool was clean and made the trip a hit for the kids. Even had pool floats, etc in the shed. The bedrooms were the right size for sleeping, and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of extra towels, blankets, rugs and pool towels. There were enough dishes, cookware, pots, pans and basic supplies for cooking each meal. We used the grill, which is a large four burner, to cook each evening. There were cleaning supplies for the week including laundry soap. Washer and dryer were clean and operational which is important when traveling with kids. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The neighborhood is older but very quiet and close to grocery shopping. We enjoyed the early morning shaded back patio looking out at the mountains for breakfast and coffee. Overall, a great place to hang your hat for the week. Thanks for providing a place to make memories!

Almost great

This is a spacious home with a lot of good qualities, but also a few shortcomings. The ice maker didn’t work and there were no ice trays. The master bath was small and needs more counter space. The back yard needed some TLC while the home’s electrical lighting, especially the ceiling fans, were old and inadequate. The worst though was the HVAC unit abutting the master bedroom. It ran 24/7 despite adjusting the thermostat and the constant noise was really annoying. The neighborhood was just so-so. All that being said, the house is well stocked and comfortable. I would give it an A plus if it weren’t for the issues mentioned above. .

Wonderful stay

We had a great time while we were in Tucson! This house was fantastic for our family! It is well maintained, clean, spacious and has plenty of amenities. The house is also conveniently located near stores, restaurants, national parks, and much more! We would definitely stay here again if we go back to Tucson. We enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to returning. Thanks for letting use use your house and for accommodating our schedule. Amazing time!

Clean, comfortable-open floor plan living/dining/kitchen

Overall nice property, neighborhood was pretty quiet and was a good location for proximity to hiking, downtown etc. (took about 20min to get most places) Biggest negative was that the pool is not heated…would have been nice to know! Was too cold to even really be in.

Perfect place to stay with our dog

We stayed 4 nights. It was a lovely, comfortable house and our dog enjoyed (and we appreciated) the fenced-in yard. Great kitchen, comfy bed, and great light throughout due to skylights.
