Where do I start? First, if you actuality want to sleep, DO NOT come here. As if the freeway noise wasn’t bad enough, the trains sounded like they were in the room with us. Then, when walking into the hotel, the deodorizer was so strong it almost burned the inside if my nose. What are they trying to cover up? The elevator is old and rickety, it scared me to use it! The floors in the rooms are dirty - there's no carpeting and they must just sweep or vacuum but they don't mop. I put on a clean pair of socks and they were soiled in less than five minutes. Then there's the bed that had terribly noisy springs. The fixtures in the bathroom were practically falling out of the wall. The bathtub finish was coming off, it looked terrible. The breakfast was the same every day, dry egg omelet things, and sausage, and occasionally buiscuits and gravy. They only offered white bread, plain bagels, and icky little muffins. There was cheap yogurt and a pancake machine. Coffee was Folgers - ick. Only two juices, orange & apple. What a HUGE disappointment.

This hotel worked for the price. It is in N. Tuscon. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice. It was a little dingy and outdated. There are lots of stores/food nearby. The one big drawback for me was that it is right off the highway and you can hear the traffic all night long. I'd bring earplugs next time, as I am a light sleeper.

Al llegar en la tarde no habían hecho la limpieza en la habitación. Las camas son incómodas y la regadera no está en buen estado. Llaves y piso necesitan mantenimiento pues se ven descarapelados. Conveniente por el precio y buen desayuno, pero puede mejorar en su servicio y fallas en la limpieza e instalaciones.

Pretty beat up since our last visit one year ago, The towels were badly stained, it looked like poop, and had several holes in them. The tub was gross, greenish blue mold around the drain and lots of chips. Breakfast wasn’t the best either, when we got down there with an hour to go all there was was a few egg patties sitting in water, the biscuits, gravy and sausage were all gone and when she did bring out the sausage is was ice cold, it had cold white grease on it. The woman manning the kitchen seemed overwhelmed and unhappy. About the only good thing was the young guy that checked me in was pleasant and helpful. We won’t be staying here again.

The hot tub was great. Free breakfast was ok. The pancake machine was not working. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would book with them again.

Days Inn Tucson/Marana had many positives: convenient location, proximity to dining options and stores, great service, and decent amenities, including good parking and a decent breakfast (including eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt, milk, juice, milk and coffee) however, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. While it was not dirty per se, there were noticeable issues such as dust accumulation in corners and behind furniture. While the room cleanliness could be improved, the overall experience was positive, and I would consider staying here again in the future.

It's all about that hostess
The hostess caught me off guard with her smile, charm, and laughter. I forgot her name, but she was the golden star of my travels back to the west coast. I should have chatted her up more as she seemed playful and fun. I had just gotten off the road after 13 hours of driving and zoned out and wiped. The hotel was great, but she made me at ease with her joyous demeanor represented the hotel in a way that is lost these days.

The bed wasn't very supportive woke up sore. Our room (323) had a door in the wall that went to another room. You could hear everything they did. Cracker Barrel parking lot the noise never stopped.

Extremely disappointing. Especially for how much I paid. Traveled the entire country and this was our last stop and most expensive hotel. If I had been staying for more than a short overnight, I would have left. There was pubic hair in the shower. There was a long hair in one of the beds. The hot water is actually cold water and the cold water is hot. We were not told this but when we complained that the shower didn’t warm up the manager said he could move us to a new room or we could try turning it to cold to get hot water. If they know it’s an issue, then they need to fix it. The room is lit up like daytime from the huge gap under door into hallway and from the lack of black out curtains. I will never use this hotel or its affiliated chains again. I stayed here based on good reviews on Expedia and I don’t want anyone else to be blindsided. The pro worth mentioning is that it is newly remodeled and the floors are gorgeous. But I didn’t walk barefoot on them based on how gross other parts of room were. The door handle upon entering the room was greasy. Nothing had been dusted in ages. The hot tub was nice and clean but I have thicker dish towels than the pool towels that were offered. The parking lot was large and it’s next to a couple of chain restaurants, which is convenient. The breakfast lacked options and was the only place we stayed that did not have non dairy beverage options. Even the coffee tasted bad. We left as soon as we could. Please don’t stay here.

Currently, Tucson's International Gem Show is underway which is the reason for the high prices. Our rates are typically not as costly as they are during the month of January & February because of the Gem Show being in town and the entire hotel industry becoming extremely busy. We will speak to our housekeeping staff about the issues you experienced with the room itself. As you stated we did recently undergo renovations and some of the showers were installed incorrectly so we are actively working towards getting all these that were installed backwards fixed. We apologize again for the issues experienced and hope that we are able to better serve you in the future. Have a great day!

There was no carpet in rhe rooms - only tile. Plastic chairs. Sheets and mattress pad kept coming off the bed. AC/Heating not central but has a room unit. It was very loud. Very little insulation - could hear everything that happened in adjoining room and hallway. Close to interstate and train tracks. Loud traffic sounds. Food at free breakfast fair to average - apples looked very old. No other fresh fruit.
