“Beautiful lodge in the mountain forest with beautiful landscaping around the individual cottages along a hill. Delicious food and very friendly staff. The perfect location for birdwatching, particularly the Resplendent Quetzal. Hence we saw one male, a female and a juvenile quetzal for about 30 minutes during the special quetzal tour in the morning, in addition to a male quetzal right at the lodge and another one that I could film along the nature trail of the lodge.”

Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass wir kein Wasser hatten! Auf unsere Nachfrage sagte man uns, dass dies zur Zeit wegen der Straßen Bauarbeiten erst wieder am späten Nachmittag verfügbar sei! Was auch so war! Leider hörte man am frühen Morgen, wie sich andere Gäste gegenseitig fragten, ob Sie Wasser...

“Pratique pour visiter la vallée d’Orosi. Piscine agreable , personnel très gentil. Possibilité de se faire livrer le repas du soir (pas de restaurant sur place) En revanche en bord de route donc pour les amateurs de calme, c’est à prendre en considération. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais le traffic reprend vers 4h du matin environ ( nous y sommes allés hors saison ). Fermé par un grand portail marron ( sonner en arrivant)”

“This hotel is managed by an adorable husband and wife who were super friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The cute details in the hallways and alcoves show how much they pour their hearts and souls into this place. The room was simple but had all of the amenities I needed for my stay. Coffee, tea and water are available in the lobby and there is also a shared kitchen space as well as a small garden terrace. Breakfast is included at an authentic Costa Rican soda about 2 blocks away.”

“Would highly recommend this place. The owners just couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The cabins are bright, comfortable, and clean. The location is convenient to the Mirador de Ujarras and the Ruinas de Ujarras as well as multiple good restaurants. The citrus trees on the grounds attract lots of interesting birds. We saw at least 35 species from our porch. Hanging out with their adorable, super friendly Doberman was a big bonus for us.”
