You can visit many ancient castles in near surroundings like Valdštejn castle founded 1260, Hrubá skála, Trosky, Rotštejn, Zbirohy, Hrubý Rohozec, Sychrov, and many others. Excellent conditions for cycling and hiking also good for motorcycling. Many beautiful nature views. Swimming in many nature ponds, or Jizera river, good conditions for canoeing.
