“Unfortunately with the road construction on Front Street and the building construction right next door to our room/ balcony, I couldn’t give it a five star. I did some floor exercises in our room and did notice a lot of dust on the chair legs - I have to remember to dust the chair leg-bars on my own chairs at home! Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. Kudos to them!”

“Literally walk off the ferry and you're there. We had a dock facing room which was quite nice, albeit loud as the ships sound their horn each time they leave the port. This hotel is centrally located and everything is within walking distance. The staff was absolutely excellent and each day, we were given a few small treats to enjoy and a bottle of wine was in our room when we checked in. The was our first time on the island and we will definitely stay here again.”

“The staff was great! Despite the construction going on the noise was minimal. However the faucet in the bathroom was very loose and could almost pick it up off from the vanity. Lampshades were definitely showing age and wear. Hopefully things will be different when we stay in October.”

No more
"Bad location: it is dangerous to walk in the area around the hotel in the evening. The interiors are old in bad condition. The bath is very small and with very poor flooring. A very loud noise comes from the street out front. In the reception I have found rude person. At check in I asked a map of the city and the front desk clerk told me to find what I need in my smartphone…"
