"Lake Privilege" Original Twain Harte Cabin completamente aggiornato, 3 camere da letto 2 bagni,

Katmandu è una cabina originale Twain Harte del 1930, restaurata con cura nell'arredamento della cabina con aggiornamenti moderni. Interni in pino nodoso con alti soffitti, 3 camere da letto una con letto matrimoniale, le altre 2 hanno letti full size, tutte con nuovi comodi materassi. 2 bagni, 1 con vasca e doccia, l'altro con cabina doccia, entrambi recentemente ristrutturati. Inoltre una sala giochi con un tavolo da biliardo / ping pong full size. Il soggiorno ha un futon che si trasforma in un letto full size, un camino in pietra con una stufa a legna, ventilatore a soffitto, cavo T. V., internet wireless ad alta velocità, lettore cd, riscaldatore ad aria forzata per lettore video, condizionatore d'aria per i mesi estivi più caldi. La cucina ha una nuova gamma di gas, forno a microonde, frigorifero con fabbricatore di ghiaccio, smaltimento. Cucina completamente attrezzata con tutti gli accessori necessari. Lavasciuga. Grande ponte avvolgente con 2 barbecue di gas e una bricchetta, tavolo e sedie.

Goditi il bellissimo e privato Twain Harte Lake. Lake apre il Memorial Week-end e si chiude dopo la Festa del Lavoro. Bella spiaggia, snack bar, parco giochi, bagnino. Iscriviti ai bambini per le lezioni di nuoto.

La nostra bella cabina si trova a soli 5 minuti a piedi dalla pittoresca Twain Harte, dove troverete ottimi ristoranti, golf, negozi e una moltitudine di attività.

Amazing experience!

Top notch property. Clean, well stocked, quaint cabin with a woodsy vibe. Owner was very responsive. Love the private lake access but Pinecrest lake is also only 20 minutes away. Would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful cabin

Loved our stay! Cabin is very cute and has a great location. The upper rooms do get hot on a hot night, but the primary bedroom was quite large with great windows. All the beds were very comfortable and the cabin is well stocked with everything one would need. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay!

Impromptu 5 day getaway with our 6 & 9 yo. Cabin exceeds description in listing. Immaculately clean and equipped with everything we could possibly require. Beds (ALL of them) are insanely comfortable and furnished with luxury bedding. Ample supply of TP, towels, batteries, flash lights, light bulbs, etc. Location to town is an easy walk with myriad restaurants, shops, pool. Live music at the Rock on Saturday night was a super fun surprise. Lake is a 20 minute walk or 5 min drive. Bring your beach chairs and beach towels and an appetite for the Fat Shack (curly fries*). Owners are swift to respond, with an obvious goal to make guests feel welcome and at ease. Our family looks forward to making many more memories at Katmandu.

Charming Twain Harte Cabin

Our family had a wonderful time at this charming Twain Harte cabin. The cabin has a bear theme which our grandchildren really enjoyed. The air conditioning was great downstairs, however the upstairs rooms were warm. Fans were provided which was helpful. Twain Harte Lake is especially great for young families. We made a great memory!! Thank You!!!

Relaxing Weekend

The cabin was quaint and had everything we needed. It's a short nice walk downtown from the cabin which we did just about every night. It was also a short drive to the lake as well as the supermarket. I felt like we didn't even scratch the surface of what Twain Harte has to offer in our short stay. One of the highlights was going to the Natural Bridges Trailhead which I highly recommend if you're ok with a short hike. All in all a great cabin and great trip!

Nice Place

Owner was helpful. Reservations were needed for the lake and this was secured by the owner. Communication about other subjects went well. Nicely stocked with useful things like cleaners, TP, towels, condiments, and kitchen items. The place was mostly very clean when we got there. Be advised that the stairs to the 2 upstairs bedrooms are very steep and may not be suitable for young children or older adults. Everything that was advertised was available and in usable condition. Nice neighborhood and is within walking distance of a small town.

Great cabin, but upstairs bedrooms not for older folks

Loved the cabin deck, location and main rooms. SUPER clean and cute with comfy seating inside and outside. I missed on the post that there were two sets of really steep stairs to get to the upstairs bedrooms, harder for older and really young folks. The upstairs beds were tucked in the dormers with only 6” clearance on each side, so getting in and out of the beds was difficult. If you just want to go to bed to sleep, no problem, and the beds were mighty comfy! If you want to read, use the bathroom at night, or need a nightstand next to the bed, I have a cpap, then not so good. Excellent deck for sleeping outside on an air mattress, and there is a bathroom right off the deck! Unfortunately, we forgot our mattress. Sadly, Twain Harte has gotten really hot over the last 20 years with the drought taking so many trees, so many cabins are adding AC. Thankfully, this cabin had a small window AC unit. It was too small to cool entire cabin during the day, but there were plenty of fans and we were able to keep the main room and kitchen cool during the day, and get the upstairs bedrooms cool by bedtime. The pool table was fabulous for my teenager. We were able to shut a door and play quietly late into the night and not disturb other sleeping family. It was a memorable night! The tech was great (!) for us: WiFi, Roku, Bluetooth on sound system. Everyone’s gadgets were accessible so nice to be able to play our music, and be able to look up info on local business availability and catch the news on TV, or use our apps to watch a movie. One of the best cabins we have rented in TH, but unfortunately, since we are now of the older crowd, we need easier bedrooms.

Stayed for a family wedding

This house is very quaint and comfortable and very clean. There is a bedroom, pool table room, living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms downstairs. The other 2 bedrooms are up pretty steep steps. Worked out great for us-all adults...wish we could have enjoyed the house and town a little more...we had a busy weekend wedding in Strawberry.

Beautiful and comfortable!

Great property. Very clean, well maintained and great space. Kids loved the bonus room with pool/ping-pong table. Just a super peaceful beautiful cabin. Only thing that was annoying was the busy-body neighbor who literally watched us coming and going each day, but benefit of the doubt he must be bored :-) and was harmless.

Peaceful setting close to town.

The cottage was super clean and well appointed. We were a short drive away from the lake but able to walk to town to grab groceries and some delicious brownies From the local bakery. My 8 year old daughter cried when we left. She had too much fun. We will be visiting again!

Disappointing

I booked this rental because it listed "lake privileges" as a main feature. Don't believe it. Even though I had told her prior to booking it that the main reason for my booking her cabin was so my family, especially my two year-old grandson, could use the lake, she could care less. The owner will not go out of her way to make a reservation for you to use the lake. She will put in a "request" but will not follow-up to see if the request is granted. When she told me that she put in our request I thought it meant we were good to go, only to find out the day of that there was no reservation. She did, at my insistence, call the lake and speak to the manager and the manager got us in but the stress it caused on my "vacation" was unacceptable. As far as the cabin itself, beware. If you have small children or anyone in your group with physical limitations this is NOT the cabin for you. The two upstairs bedrooms are each accessible by EXTREMELY narrow and steep staircases, so steep that my youngest son refused to climb them and ended up sleeping on the couch the entire week. Also, there were dead bugs found in the upstairs bedroom that my oldest son and his family slept in. To be fair, the cabin was well stocked with everything you would need and the back deck was wonderful to enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Aside from the bugs upstairs, it was very clean. The beds in the two bedrooms we used were comfortable.

Perfect weekend getaway

This was a great cabin! It was perfect for what we needed. The heart stone in the fireplace was so cute! Everything was well stocked, and easy to use. It is a great location, not too far out, and easy to get to town. We went for snow, but even though there wasn’t much left, we had a good time. My kids loved exploring the backyard and playing ping pong. They were very excited to see deer right across the street. We cannot wait to stay again.

Beautiful property. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful, relaxing and quiet vacation. The property was beautiful and very peaceful. We enjoyed the game room in the evenings. The description of the house had air conditioning listed, but we found no air conditioning just a lot of fans. The weather was nice, so it turned out fine. Otherwise, the house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would recommend it to our family and friends.

Great location, great town and great house, not managed well though

The house / property is great and the town is great. Make sure the owners register your names so you can *actually* use the lake priviledge. The wifi router was locked in some desk whose keys were lost and we didn't have internet for our stay there. The house was not super clean either. The hosts are nice and they gave us late check-out.

A true cabin. Very comfortable and convenient.

The cabin was easy to find. It was very homie, well equipped with all necessities from home. The beds very comfortable. Everything was very clean. We went skiing at Dodge so easy in and out access to highway. Grandson and the family had a great time with the pool table and ping pong table. Two bedrooms were upstairs so we let the younger adults take those rooms.

Cozy Gem!

This cabin was so cozy and quaint; we had a terrific time here! The kitchen table with the wrap around bench nook was perfect for eating, drinking, playing games and just plain socializing. The bedrooms were comfortable with new mattresses, pillows, bed linens and cozy blankets. The cabin as a whole was nicely updated and appointed with the perfect bear in the woods, cabin decor. And the game room was enjoyed by all! The location couldn't have been better. We had the cute Twain Harte town with local delicious restaurants just minutes away from the cabin, and a quick 20 minute drive up the mountain to Dodge Ridge for skiing and snow play. The neighborhood the cabin is set in is adorable with so much character. We will definitely be in touch with Sue and Pete for our future stays at this cozy gem!

White Vacation

We went to stay in this cabin while there was still snow in the mountains and before it could melt. We were not disappointed. When we arrived there was still so much snow that our children could and did play in, make snowmen, and just make memories. This cabin never disappoints. The town does not either. The people of the town are every so friendly and nice. We will be coming back again.
