Everything was great but there was no hot water at all. We only stayed one night. Hot tub was nice and hot but i couldn't rinse off in the shower bc there was no hot water. I did wipe down before going in the hot tub, which was what the owners wanted. Mattress was excellent; view is outstanding and communication with the owners was fabulous!

Location is perfect to visit Joshua Tree! Just 6 minutes to the entrance, plus a nice view atop the hill for the stay. They had all the amenities we needed. Air fryer, coffee, microwave, fire pit, and a comfy bed!

My wife and I had a wknderful stay at the Hillside Cabin! Everything worked as advertised, and the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We enjoyed the hot tub both nights of our stay, feeling very private on top of the hill as we looked at the stars. The cabin is very close to Joshua Tree National Park, which is where we spent most of the day time. This cabin is simple, cozy, clean, and just what we needed for a short stay. Great communication from the owner, and easy helpful directions to access the cabin. We will certainly stay here again if we make it back to the area.

Small but mighty. Perfect vantage point to the valley below, the hot tub at night watching the stars was amazing. Sunset and sunrise experiences. Got pizza from Rocky’s and it was top notch. Great property, wonderful communication with owner. We’d highly recommend

This guest house was so perfect. It had a stunning view of the town and was close to restaurants, grocery stores, and supplies as well as Joshua Tree National Park (and some other national preserves).Everything in the guest house was immaculate. They provided clearer directions well in advance as the GPS always tries to send you an inaccessible way. Antony was very proactive and communicative and answered any questions I had quickly. Would absolutely stay again!

Great location

We had a great experience staying at Antony’s apartment. We received a lot of instructions including how to get there prior to our arrival. The short dirt road wasn’t a concern if we traveled from 2 mile road. After we arrived, we were impressed by how he included a guestbook with lots of information about the area and WiFi password. The starlink wifi was also very fast. We enjoyed our stay and we were glad we chose this place for our Joshua Tree trip!

Cozy and convenient

We were coming to Joshua Tree NP from Death Valley NP, and this unit was ideally located. The park was a 15 min drive away, the grocery store was only 5 min away, and a lovely Caribbean-themed restaurant was 10 min away. Antony, the host, was very clear in his directions (since we were arriving well after sunset). He was also prompt in replying to a late-night maintenance issue, and compensated us for the inconvenience in a fair and satisfactory manner. Be sure to walk the entire property to see the lovely cacti and boulders. The bed is super-comfortable, too.

A perfect reset

After car camping for a few night this place got the important things right: views, comfy bed, good coffee. The driveway situation was a bit rough on my Honda civic, note there are TWO driveways to go up so if you’re looking at the super steep and rocky one, go around the block.

Cozy stargazing cabin on the hill

Just a few minutes from the main strip, this little cabin was far enough away to be nice and quiet with hilltop views for stars and sunsets. Throughout our stay we were impressed with the hosts concise communication, including a thoughtful booklet detailing the best spots in town. Unit was clean and simple, and still felt nice and private. Great spot at a great price!

Great communication

Antony communicated frequently and made sure we got good directions. It appears smaller than the pictures portray. It seems to be a converted garage. The bed allowed a great sleep. There could be more attention to detail. There was no smoke alarm, and there were cautions about using too many appliances at once. It is a pretty view, though! The giant saguaro cactus near the front of the property is magnificent with the stars in the background!

Awesome hilltop property!

My wife, pup and I stayed here for the weekend and loved it! Antony was very communicative and handled all questions I had immediately, and even promptly shipped my glasses that I accidentally left behind. Great value for the price. Definitely recommend!

Adorable little guest house

The place was small but more than adequate for a short stay for a single or couple. Beautiful views from a hilltop location. Very good communications with the host. The last 100 yds. on a dirt road up the hill a little hairy for a regular vehicle but not a problem. Would recommend highly.
