Vacanze a Two Mile Hill

Beautiful new hotel!

We understood that it was not peak vacation time in Barbados, but the resort was empty. The resort did not conduct any activities they had listed for the pool or the beach. No music being played - very low key. Restaurant choices very limited and one night there was even same menu two nights in a row. Very limited buffets. LOVED the staff at the spa! Definitely visit. The room was beautiful - very spacious and the view was wonderful.

Glorious beach, incredible water! The views!!! This was our second time at the Fairmont Royal Pavillion and will absolutely not be the last. Housekeeping staff were amazing and our room was immaculately cleaned every day. Restaurant staff were mixed, some were really lovely, some were a little unfriendly, but all in all we felt taken care of. Breakfast was good. The WiFi was significantly worse this time around, really hope it improves in the future (it was better when we came last year, not sure how that works). The only good thing about that was that it encouraged my son and I to put away our phones and enjoy the glorious...everything. But my husband had to work and was frustrated more than once. Gorgeous property, lovely staff. Can't wait to come back!

Wow. Just wow. Both the garden view rooms and the beachfront view rooms were beautiful. Sometimes the angles and the photographer are “creative”, lol, but not here. It’s the real deal. If you ask, you can get a beachfront room with direct walk up access to one of the pools, or a direct walk up to a garden. Some on the second and third floors have stunning oceanfront views but not this access. The beach is long with the softest sand, and the water is a clear as you can imagine. You can schedule water sports and coordinate for other activities like any place, but the water sports were included. They had a few different vendors show up on the property, but they weren’t pushy sales folk and don’t “take over” the lobby. They have the kindest and most helpful staff that I’ve experienced in the Caribbean, hands down. Everyone from the cooks to the bartenders to the front office folks are welcoming, gracious, and real - they aren’t putting on a show. We also ate at their sister properties, a major plus to the all-inclusive allure of this place. Again, hands down, The House has the best amenities and by far the best food. My wife and I were celebrating 20 years with another couple doing the same. Between us we’ve been all over the Caribbean and this was one to remember. I have ZERO complaints. Really.
