“Unfortunately our stay was marred by the fact that the bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained the previous residents used sanitary products!!! The shower took 25 minutes to drain and, whilst we understand the logistics of old manor houses, if the plumbing is not up to standard then this should be at least mentioned on booking. The bathroom windows were in desperate need of repair, and mould cleaner, which may be the reason why there were silverfish in the bathroom. The final straw for...

“We received a lovely warm welcome. Lovely hotel. Nice location close to the beach. Lovely comfortable rooms with small en suite bathroom. Big plus for me was the kettle with plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Will definitely book again when coming to Devon.”

“Very good stay overall, lovely place and grounds. Minor feedback, not clear that the lodges are not detached. The indoor swimming pool needs some TLC including the facilities like changing. Some of the activities were not included and had to be paid for, this is not made clear when booking. More cups and plates are needed or dish water tablets.”

The accommodation had everything we needed, and the very good WiFi included in the price was a big bonus.
