The house was clean with a lot of amenities. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need to cook with. Instructions were simple and they didn't add a bunch of "check-out instructions" on top of the cleaning fee which was nice. Kylan was quick to text back and help in anyway we needed. Only downsides were the check-in/check-out times were a bit early/late and the wi-fi was not great. I just relied on my cell network instead. Secluded yet close to anything I needed. Great place!

Beautiful house, clean and comfortable. Green, well-maintained lawn and grounds. Kitchen was well-stocked (dishes, coffee maker, microwave, etc.). Host even provided a pound of coffee. Area quiet and inviting. Perfect for activities near White Salmon. We had nine people in our group and the bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficient. Master bath had an odd configuration: tiny toilet area but large walk-in closet. Great shower. Heating and cooling units were very efficient and effective. Hot tub and outside seating.Driveway is small gravel road with homemade sign. Easy to miss. Host was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly. We would stay there again.

Beautiful!

My sisters & I stayed four nights while exploring the Columbia River Gorge. The location is perfect-conveniently located but private. The kitchen is well-stocked, the beds are comfy & the outdoor space is relaxing and peaceful. Communication with Kylan was very easy. The provided digital guestbook includes all the information needed for a carefree stay.

Great family weekend

Our large family of grandparents, adult children and 6 grandkids had plenty of room for all. The hot tub was a big hit after skiing at cooper spur about 30 minute drive. White salmon is a beautiful little town just a few miles away.

Great for multiple families!

We choose this home due to it’s close proximity to Rocky Hill Events where my daughter got married. The home was great for multiple families however it is wise to check into the rules when you are booking this property for a wedding. The home was very clean and comfortable for our families!

One of our favorite meals was preparing roasted salmon, asparagus and salad and eating together with a bottle of good Oregon wine. We enjoyed the outside space in the evenings. While no one used the hot tub, it is a nice feature. The birthday girl thanks you again for the nice assortment of fruit you sent her.

Ladies Ski Retreat 2023

Exceptional host. Lovely home, and one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at in our 32 years of our annual cousins retreat. The kitchen had everything we could have wished for. We also had wild turkeys and deer in the yard. Wonderful hot tub. Thank you Kaylen and Jake.

Perfect family retreat

We loved our stay in Underwood! The house was super clean, kid friendly, and the kitchen was very well stocked! The kids enjoyed playing games from the game closet and sledding in the yard. The property is very private, but conveniently located just a few minutes from White Salmon and Hood River. The owners are communicative and accommodating. Absolutely recommend this home for a family getaway! We visit this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful location

This was a beautiful property, inside and out. It was the perfect spot for our family to stay in while we were in town for fall wedding festivities. The house was clean, modern and convenient. Windows let in lots of light, and showcased beautiful forest setting. Living spaces upstairs and downstairs allowed privacy for various family members. The yard was stunning, with lots of private space to hang out. Kylan was great to work with. We were able to plan a small event while staying within her house rules.

Perfect set-up

House is exactly as described. We were there to house family for a Hood River/Mount Hood wedding so we didn’t use the hot tub (no time) or the fire pit (outdoor burn ban). But the house had ample room for everyone and was well appointed. Instructions were clear. Beautiful setting and very handy to our needs across the River where the wedding events occurred. Also close to family staying in Hood River lodgings. Highly recommend!

40th birthday surprise

Several of us flew from all over the country to surprise my sister for her 40th birthday. This was a great place for all of us. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out, but an equal amount of space for us to have our own space as well. The downstairs was a little cold, but we grabbed extra blankets. The kitchen was very well stocked as well. Highly recommend for any variety of medium group gatherings. Kylan was responsive and very willing to work with me.
