“This is a great option for independent-minded travelers who want something clean and spacious near the university. There is not much in the way of front desk staff but they communicated smoothly about check in and check out. There is an excellent bakery downstairs on the premises. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans, utensils, etc. Tons of space. There is a bit of street noise as the property is at a busy intersection, so bring your earplugs just in case. Overall, good value.”

“Homewood Suites is in the perfect location near the university. It was clean, had plenty of space, and they had a simple, but nice breakfast. We had to ask for extra sheets and a blanket for the pull out sofa. It was delivered promptly and the person who delivered it was professional. Highly recommend!”

“Hotel room was even nicer and more spacious than online pictures. Bathroom was great with all the Dove products to use. I didn’t even have to unpack the stuff I brought. Needed a microwave and they brought one right up to the room. Plenty of eating options within walking distance. Only thing I would suggest is when you check in make sure to find out where to park. It is across the road but super close and plenty of spots. Would definitely stay again!! ”

“The hotel was still under construction so workers were around and the pool was not available. The staff was friendly. We did have a bad storm pass through and there was a safety alarm going off for quite a while, which was annoying but nothing to do about it. We also noticed the outlet between the beds didn’t work so we couldn’t charge our phones. Inconvienent, but it was too late in the evening to have someone come to our room to fix. The front desk apologized and also ran us up a toothbrush...

“We have stayed at this property many times. However, we have been disappointed almost every time because it has been a full house between the construction, and now the finished product. With the full capacity comes zero parking if you arrive after eight or 9 PM. On this particular trip, there were four semi’s parked in the parking lot and work trucks that were almost semi truck sized. No rhyme or reason to their parking- taking up multiple spaces. “We had a very pleasant evening and morning at the Candlewood. Exactly what we needed: microwave to heat up dinner and coffee in the morning in the room.
