“Reasonable place to stay . Very dog friendly. Room was clean & small . Nothing fancy but good . Pool & pool area seem not in use anymore.”

“It's an old place but that doesn't mean it needs to be as old as it really is.. the room we got was probably the oldest one they have with some disgusting carpet. It's a great location and the price was better than anything else. But they really need to spruce up with clean and do some upgrades because I won't go there again.”

“The room was very small for 2 beds. Not enough space to walk around and keep our luggage too. The beds were awful, they were super soft and we sunk in them. We couldn’t sleep well and we had bad backs in mornings. The shower knob was loose, the hot water took lot longer. Shower curtain was torn. It was lot expensive compared to the rooms we got. “Loved the location! It was right across from the lake! The hotel was okay, no frills but the rooms were very clean! The property itself is old and could use a little TLC. The small restaurant attached to the property (Elements) was absolutely amazing and convenient! Overall great stay!”

“We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”
