“Opened the room door and immediately left. The smell was horrible. There was a barking dog in another room. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever walked into. ”

“I've stayed here before and brought my family for a baseball game and to explore the city. Love the location. It's at an intersection of the city, lake, and river, so quick access to each. When we arrived, the staff was very warm and welcoming. It was a pretty quiet hotel. Cleaning staff did a great job too. We especially liked having access to a pool table. It was a nice small touch which went a long way for us. Fantastic visit. Only hotel we'll ever use in Cleveland.”

“Only person who spoke English was person at desk. No one check on morning breakfast to make sure everything was okay. Didn't put toilet paper & towels in downstairs restrooms for at least a day after being told. Windows really needed cleaning. Tub faucet was loose. ”

“Hotel is older and not in the best shape. The staff was good and the room was fine. It was clean.”

“The room was not clean at all. Dry crusted food in the microwave, stained towels that looked used, used bar of soap in the tub, sticky spot on the bathroom floor that had collected dust and dirt, stain on a pillow, didn’t look swept at all and we even came across a small dubia cockroach in the bathroom. When I went to complain, someone was already doing the same and when she walked away the lady at the front desk rolled her eyes right in front of me.”

“We liked the room overall. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We had an excellent breakfast in the Clubroom on our last morning. The location downtown was very convenient- close to attractions and restaurants. We were at the hotel for two nights and the reservation included daily room service. That didn’t happen. We were out of the room all day and never received fresh towels or trash pickup. We also weren’t happy with the lighting in the vanity area. It was extremely dim...

“Since i paid for the room thru Expedia and there was an issue with not only my check in but there was no working hot water, i would expect Expedia to reimburse me for my one night stay ($79) instead of offering me $20 OneKey cash points. Red Roof has offered me their own points (over 6K) for the inconvenience. I don't travel much at all as I can't afford it. I would expect better. ”
