Baite a Upper Squamish

“Nice property and staff but the temperature control system was bad. We couldn’t sleep Room was constantly at 27 degrees. Tech checked it out warned us it’s finicky but temperature never came down. Next day when we complained they said because of environmental rules it always shut down when there is no activity, also gave us parking fee waver. For a hotel this calibre they should look in to this issue. I felt like why we paid to be have a sleepless night.”

“Beware what the listing for the room says. Mine said king bed studio. Nowhere did it say it was a MURPHY bed, ie not a real mattress - plus the bed angled down towards the head. I asked front desk if it was possible to change rooms but they said the king bed rooms are not part of the hotel, that they are privately and the hotel has no control. In addition, I tried to contact Expedia because I booked “Cascade Lodge Hotel” via them but it was impossible to speak to an actual person. The room...

“Central location, great view. Well equipped Had to chase up details for door codes. Window blinds tend to stick and not ideal.”

“We’ve stayed at Evolution a few times for ski trips and access to Alpha, Nita, and Alta Lakes. There are also many paved bike trails nearby, and bike rentals are easy to find if you don’t have one. It’s very family- and dog-friendly, with a pool, sauna, and hot tub, plus apartment-style suites with full kitchens. There’s also a kids’ games room downstairs, which is a nice bonus.
