"The building was beautiful and our room was good, the bed very comfortable. B We only stayed one night but the food was disappointing. We met friends who had stayed for a few nights and they felt the same. That’s the only thing that lets it down really"

"All round excellent! Room lovely and clean, bed comfy, nicely decorated and very peaceful. Our breakfast was delicious and we were very well looked after by their amazing team of staff. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning again soon!"

"Merchant nook was lovely, very quaint and small but everything you need, the garden was lovely and whilst shared with the owner was not an issue for us, the village was lovely with a community pub which served fantastic food and a community ran little shop for anything you need, lots of lovely walks ..."
